All attys are going to have wicks, some just work better than others. I would not suggest going to dropping if you want a care free vape, as dripping gets more the hobbiest level and requires more time.

Look into an Atlantis or something of the like.

Ugh...the atlantis is such a LAZY way to vape (yes I am a hobbyist here lol)

There are disposable 510 drippers that have no wick. I personally do not care for them because of the tight draw AND there are so many better options around.

Here is a great blog post on dripping by ECF member The Ocelot if you just want to give dripping a try without going the rebuildable route. Drip, Drip, Drip - The Sound of Dripping.

510 Standard Resistance Dripping Atomizer
Bridgeless 510 Atomizer, 2 ohms

I am really looking for an ecig with a wickless atomizer, reliability, good performance, simplicity and low maintenance. Is there such a thing?

This is Matt (from Suck My Mod) vaping a mini Nautilus on an rDNA (a 30 watt devise). However he is only vaping at 18 watts. Pair the mini Nautilus (or full sized Nautilus) with an iStick and you will get a great vape.

This is only one possibility. There are others that could work for you too.

If you want to keep your EGO, I think the new Kanger coils for the Protanks 2 & 3 are wickless or have untouchable enclosed wicks. I had one that lasted about 5 weeks but I prefer thier older rebuildable coils.

My Kanger MOW tank uses this same enclosed wick. But being enclosed won't solve the issue of getting a burnt taste from a bad wick (happened to me....but it was due to the juice I was using)

Edward Byrne , you have to put into consideration that your alternative to smoking is an electronic device, simplicity and low maintenance do not necessarily coincide with good performance.A good coil with a cotton wicking device is going to have far superior of vapor as well as flavor attached to it unlike your cigalike / clearomizer so if ease of use and you could live without the flavor enhancement and vapor production than blu is for you but you still have to buy / change cartridges.A better investment would be

Kanger Sub Tank Nano with the 1.2 ohm coils

I think I get this post. You are looking for something that works, whereas a Totally Wicked Tornado Mega Ego C is an e-cig that uses the old fashioned atomizer and cartridge system from another era of Vaping.

I got a free one of these only last summer. All I got was burned tastes and leaking. I even 'ran' it a 3.3v.

Joyetech/Totally Wicked should have stopped selling it 2 years ago, but they pretend "the customers like it".

What this really means is it makes money and new vapers buy the kits.

(Ouch, I am in a honest mood today)
