A new job? Congrats, doc! :toast:

Regarding the V3, I see an arm-wrestling match in your future... :)

Thank You. Kind of excited. I bailed on private practice and took a job with the VA. Hoping to help those who have given so much.

I was arm wrestling champ in college, though. My final match was a girl and it was EXACTLY like that scene from "Revenge of the Nerds".

Yea, that is pretty funny. Now I have a visual in my head... Thanks :)

Btw, I have two friends who have made the exact same career move as you in the past couple of years. They seem to be pretty pleased with their decision especially with what the future may hold. Stress reduction is always a nice step forward imo... Again, congrats!

Yeah, I tried the work my .... off and see how much I can make routine. In primary care, the pay isn't enough to warrant this. I like the work and the patients, but the stress and insurance BS, and now the gov't, are killing primary care. Now, I want to see my 6yo grow up and get home earlier. The idea of a pension (whatever that may or may not be worth in the future) was kind of nice, too.
