Get a Magneto for your fist mod... Its telescoping so you can decide if you like big batteries or small... its reliable, its rather cheap and will always be useful in your arsenal... I use my Magneto now as the mod I build with... Meaning... I use it to test coils, dry burn etc. I also use it when I am out in my garage, on the lawnmower, anywhere that if I bang it up... I don't really care.

AND GET A GOOD MULTIMETER... Learn about ohms law and how much load you can put on a certain battery... Experiment and have fun.

Do not over load a battery and allow it to vent... Thats bad.

This isbasically the same questions I have... I want big clouds, I want to start using RDS's, but I like the comfort of the VV/VW, due to my lack of knowledge at this point. Is there a good, not so inexpensive VV/VW that will work with an RDA that will allow big clouds? I plan on using my MVP2.0 and AeroTank set up when out and about and at work, but when I'm hanging with friends or watching TV, I wanna blow big clouds.

I have moved from an ego to a vv/vw, what a difference. I long to go further with a mech, and I have read more than anyone can imagine. Started vaping long before I actually quit smoking, but due to a stroke I had 9 months ago, no matter how much I read I either can't retain or my brain just won't allow me to quite understand what I'm reading! My son has recently started vaping and I've thought about having him read all I've read then try to explain it so I can comprehend it, since he is now well versed in making his mom "get it" now, but he just doesn't have the time. Hell, he may not even want to! He's too busy preparing for college and moving out! We live in a tiny town where no one vapes but me and the teens who think taking a hooka pen to a party is the same thing! Well, besides my son, who is old enough by the way! I realized how bad that might have sounded! I have no clue what I wanted to say or ask, now that I went off in my own world, so I'm not even sure why I'm posting this! Lol! Oh well, I suppose if I remember I'll come back! Sorry for my meaningless rant!!!

I went from an eGo battery to a Vamo v2 as my first APV. I still have the Vamo v2 as a back up, but use a Vamo v5 as my primary APV. I also now own a Maraxus clone from MadVapes, a ToBeCo Hammer clone, an an R80 foldable pipe mod for mechanicals. I have two RDAs now, and like both. One is the Smok Scar which is easy to rebuild but TINY. The other is a Smok Caterpillar. It's huge and I have a 0.5Ohm build in it.

I agree with the people that say you need to step up through the process. I still use my Vamos for vaping. The mechanicals are more for the hobby aspect. I'll vape the Vamo while rebuilding an atty. I'll also vape the Vamo as a "cool down" after hitting the mechanicals. :)
