Need advice on cartomizers for Riva UNC 1100mah battery

So about a month ago i switched from MaxxFusion auto batteries to a Riva UNC 1100mah kit from Liberty-Flights.com. As well as 1.7ohm cartomizers from Crystal Clear vaping. After about 2 weeks my battery died. They said to send it back to them and they would replace it, but is this due to my cartomizers? should i switch to something like 2.0ohm? I seem to be burning through liquid pretty fast too so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have only been vaping for about 6 months, 5 of which i was using the auto battery analog look-a-like.

Also, i use 35%vg blend with my liquids and 18mg nic if that is helpful information.

It is not likely to be your battery, lower resistance cartos give you a warmer vape + a stronger TH. If you prefer a cooler vape, I suggest 2.5 ohms. The amount of liquid you go through will really depend how often you vape. Hope that helps.

I converted a friend overseas that does not have easy access to these products. I made certain she had enough supplies to last a while. In this "vape package" I included 2 of the batteries you have as well as 1.7, 2 and 2.5 Ω cartos. She uses the 1.7 and 2Ω. No problems reported and it's been about 2 months.

Ok thanks for the replies. Going to buy 2.0ohm just to see how i like them, but it sounds like it was just a fluke dead battery.
