I ordered the starter kit from Cignot. Got 2 batteries, 2 atty's, 5 carts, etc. Also bought the pass through. That went bust in less than a week so they sent a new one but it doesn't seem to be working.

I am considering getting the 5 mega battery pack, the 5 atty pack and the five battery charger pack from TW. I travel a lot and just returned from a trip to Seattle. My pass through failed while I was there and I had to keep charging the two batteries constantly.

Anyone know if the mega batteries really do last a lot longer. Is TW reliable? So far I love Cignot customer service but they don't have the mega batteries or the 5 battery charger.

Also, the pass through is giving me problems. The first one I got from Cignot worked beautifully. I vaped away for several days then all of a sudden, it just quit. By the time I got home Cignot had sent a new one. I plugged it into the USB and waited three hours and tried it and nothing. Neither one is working. Am I doing something wrong? I now have both the old one and the new one on my USB ports and neither is working. I'm confused.

I really don't want to have to go back to analogs but my 510 batteries do not last more than 1 1/2 hours so two only gives me 3 hours and that often is not enough. HELP.

510s have always used up their batteries pretty quick...that's why I've got 14 of them. I use 9 of them all the time and the other 5 to replace them with when they stop working.

That said, I've heard of a Vapor King (mega?) battery for the five ten. I don't know if that's the name of the battery or the name of the supplier who sells them.

If you decide to remain with the batteries you've already got, I'd recommend several more batteries and a pcc.

I have the pcc but I only have two batteries. Like I said they don't last long so right now I am using one and charging the other. Seem to run one dry before the other is charged. I'm a heavy vapor I guess. I'll check out Vapor King you mentioned. So since I'm new to this I guess my question is, do you just charge nine up and carry lots around with you? Like I said I travel a lot. I have a car charger but still had to be charging one all the time while using the other.

Yes TW is VERY reliable. I have ordered from them many times in the past and have never been disappointed. I got my first mega batteries from them and very rarely ever use the short ones (only in backup situations). I vape heavily and having dead batteries is like having wet matches and an analog. The mega batteries seem to recharge just as quickly and do maintain a much longer use time (depending on the users vaping preferences). Also note: I bought different colored batteries 2 help keep track of charged and dead bats. I pulled the liner out of e-cig 901 case and it will hold 7 batteries easily. TW also has a multi charger available that will charge many batteries at the same time (very inexpressive too). The total investment creates a way better vaporing experience when away from home. At home, I use the 510 pass-through.

Mods are great and suit many users to a T... but personally I like to maintain a low profile when in public places, so my liquid is keyed for less vapor production and my PVs all look like ink pens. Less problematic in restaurants, stores, etc. I may get a quick glance occasionally, but rarely does anyone say anything. :)

Thanks. The different color thing is a good idea. I get confused with just two batteries about which one is charged. Not to say I'm an airhead but everything is black, batteries, atty's, chargers, pass thru, and since I've only been doing this a 10 days I still find it all a little confusing. I'll check out TW.

:) I got away from the "matching accessories" syndrome and now can come up with some very kool looking PVs by mixing bats, attys, and cart colors.

I was a 2+ pack a day smoker that ordered my first (real) PV from TW early this month. I bought the just released tri pack of Mega batts and 510 attys that came with the 5 batt charger. I also ordered some 36mg nic that gives me a very strong TH.

I basically use two of the three at a time with the third on the charger. I find that since the 36mg gives a much stronger hit/dose of nic than I am used to from American Spirits I don't need to vape as much. plus, just holding the thing does a lot to quell my urge for a cig.

I do top off the carts a few times a day and by the end of the day I may have rotated through a couple batteries but it is no big deal. when I leave the house I take the one I am using and a back up with me. unfortunately, I don't even see a use for any of the toys that go with these things because I think I have found an analog replacement already.

I bought the just released tri pack of Mega batts and 510 attys that came with the 5 batt charger? That was thru TW? Was it three batts and 3 attys? One of my attys is dead already and my pass thru went bust too. The new pass thru is not working either. Not sure what's going on but I'm down to two batts which don't last very long and one atty so I need to get more fast. This sounds like a possibility.

A chuck? Don't know what that is? How does it work? Link?

Greetings normagene
Before ya jump on any of the myriad recommendations you may get, make sure and read these.

These links will go a long ways to getting a grounding on what folks are talking about.

The 510 batteries don't last long on a charge. It is the nature of the beast for sure! The time your getting on a charge is about average, so if you want to stay at a small form factor your going to simply need to carry more batteries. The mega battery selection your considering from TW may indeed take care of your needs for now.

You will be set with the current tw mega kit providing nothing is D.O.A.
In a month TW's new mega kits will have longer carts and atty's as well. But I doubt the longer carts will be sold outside of the kit.

Thanks to everyone. I did read lots of the new member info. I guess my only question now is whether I should go with the 3 battery 3 atty + charger or order the 5 mega batteries at $69 and 5 atty's at $40 plus the charger at $25. It's a lot of money for me all at once but hey, in for a penny, in for a pound. That would give me 5 mega batts and 2 regular. Seems that should last me a while.

If you can afford it, the 5 and 5 plus the charger is really the better deal. It ups your power time and you won't be caught without an atomizer to spare. I think we all spend a lot of money sooner or later on PV parts and accessories just to make sure we are never caught in any situation empty handed. Guess it's like buying an insurance policy with all the coverage we can get. :)

TW is in Florida and I am Iowa... my orders were delivered to me within 2 to 3 days, excluding any weekends that got caught in between the purchase and shipping time. They are very good at getting things out the door to you, though I am not sure how busy they are going to be with the Xmas drawing near and their Birthday Bash going on the first part of December. But I still believe they have already geared up to cover it all. Actually, they are a pretty good reliable supplier.

They are! I think you'll do fine. Maybe you can find an atty or two from the Classifieds or from a member of a Social Group in your area?

Hmmm... suppliers with 510 stuff in Oregon/Washington anyone?

If not, there is a supplier here in Arizona and it should get to you quick if he has 510 attys in stock. Seems he does. Chad at Ecigsupply
