Need advice on new setup

Hello all.

For the last 2-3 years i've been using an iTaste MVP 2.0 with a Kanger protank 2 mini. My battery is starting to not hold a charge, and i've pretty well stripped the threads on my tank. It was a great run, but it's time to move on.

I'm looking into a new setup, but there's so much new stuff out there with TC and sub ohms and I don't know where to start. The sub ohms make me nervous as i've heard anything over 6mg can taste burnt. My old setup was ok. But I wasn't getting great flavor, and occasionally burnt hits with the Kanger coils. (I use 100% VG 12-18mg usually citrus flavors.)

Anyone have advice on a setup under $60ish? I'd really like a built in battery, pass thru vaping, and be able to go a day without recharging, and I need glass or pyrex for the tank. An all in kit would be great, but if I have to piece a PV and a tank from separate sites to save a little that would be fine. I've been looking at the Cool Fire 4, but don't know if that's a good option for the price and what tank to pair it with considering my juice preferences.

I really just want it to work well and give good taste! Any and all advice is appreciated.

My set is Wismec RX 200 + 3 MXJO 18650 35A 3,7V + Griffin tank (now they have new version of Griffin tank, you can check). Its very nice look, easy to hold, endure 2 days.
Check it out bro, as I love it so much.

Most built in battery mods I've seen are similar to mods that utilizes a single 18650 battery. Which means it probably won't last you a full day on a single charge (depending on how you vape ofc).

With that said, if I were in the market for a built in battery mod thats not a DNA200 device I would recommend the Innokin Coolfire IV TC100.

Going subohm will probably translate into:
Using more juice
Taking down your nic level
(Unless you change you change your vaping habits)
If you are looking for a change, great. If not, look to sticking with higher resistance setups. Maybe you try one out to see if you like it.

Another thing to consider is that much more of the gear out today is designed for direct lung inhales. This is tied in with the lower ohms and higher wattage. You may find that a shift you aren't into.

So, sticking with higher resistance gear, consider the nautilus mini by aspire. I am among many that have used and enjoyed this tank. 95% of the time I rebuild, but I still use those coils from time to time.

Also, check out what Kanger has to offer these days. I can't keep all the models straight but you can get subohm or 1.2 coils for most tanks. You can get a rebuild able deck, if you want to start playing with that, but don't want to rely on your own coils. (The deck screws in like a coil, so if you goof up a build, just swap it out with a premade).

Tried and true...an istick 20, 30, or 40 watt. Battery on these are the same and will last all day if not sub ohming. Passthru charge. The 30 and 40 are sub ohm capable if you think you may want to try it in the future, the 20 watter is not. The 40 watter will do TC if you wanna try that in the future maybe.

Second the Nautilus or the naut mini for mouth to lung. If you wanna go TC (WHICH IS SUBOHM)
I'd say grab a melo 2, it comes with 2 diff TC coils and one regular subohmer.

If you go with the 40 watt and the melo 2 price should be 50-60 depending.

The istick 20 with Naughty set-up maybe a bit less. Cheers.

I sticks are a solid choice and the shiny parts look nice if you go with the Naut or Naut mini.
For only a couple bucks more, I'd go with the 30w (unless the 40 catches your eye). Not sure how much more juice the batt has, but in addition to fire sub ohm (maybe don't need it, but no downside), the top is shaped a bit differenly.

If you look at pics and see that little lip on the 30, that is so 22mm tanks sit (a bit more) nicely on it. Larger tanks still kind of look like they're going to jump off a cliff, but better than the 20w. And that little lip also makes it feel more comfy in the hand.

I like your idea (shows you know what your doing) of staying away from the battery/accessory purchase game. Good idea if you can do it, with sub ohm'g and/or frequency of use, will likely dictate if you can go with a built in battery.

I'd sudjest an istick30 battery. Istick50 has more battery life, but have heard alot of failing stories.

Tank wise, I'd sudjest a kanger subtank. They make 1.2 and I believe 1.5ohm coils also, and it comes with a rba coil for future thought.
