As I wrote in an earlier post, I bought two pt2 clones and both give me this metallic/chemical taste and honestly I just can't vape from them. I ruled out the juice as the culprit as I vaped the juice from an evod glass and it has a much better taste. If I'm going to put nicotine in my body, I want it to at least taste good =P My question is, I would like to buy some new tanks. I would like them to be glass and ideally would like them to be a similar shape and capacity as a kanger t3s. I like the evod glass but would like a larger capacity. Once again, any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't take the metal chrome tips either; I use some old plastic cartridges from cartomizers over my metal drip dips while I wait for some proper tips in the mail.

So you're saying its nothing to do with the tank but perhaps the tips? What type of tips would you recommend? I'm still relatively new to all this so I appreciate the response.

Just buy some T3S.

I have 3 and have been using them far more often than all those mini pyrex tanks.

over 300 flavours and no tank cracking yet. :) ($5 tops here....)

Just don't do what I did and get the idea that a 3.5ml smok ARO is the answer... because it's not... it's an evil leaking creation from vaping hell.

I have 2 t3s tanks and love em. It's just that my palette for flavours is expanding and I'm finding a lot of flavors I want/want to try are tank crackers. I bought a t3d and put a new juice in it and noticed the fogging within a day and trashed it. IMO price vs performance wise, those t3s tanks are really great. I have not cleaned the protanks thoroughly with soap and water though, only hot water. Wasn't sure if using soap was safe. I may pick up some everclear or something and soak everything in that. I was looking at the pt mini and aerotank mini's but wasn't sure if I would pickup the same taste from them or not plus they only hold like 1.5 ml or something like that. Do the mini's tend to suck juice quick?

Lots of plastic drip tips.

They're called 510 drip tips.

What type of tank do you want?

For your basic, easy kit, it's hard to beat a tanked carto.

It will beat the crap out of practically any other setup under $50, and can be done for around $20

I'm interested in anything at this point. I prefer something along the lines of a t3s, or something that's easy to maintain. I'm not really into dripping, rebuilding etc. My viewpoint on vaping is somewhat utilitarian. I've quit smoking and really enjoy vaping and have been tapering down my nicotine intake from 24 to 18 and have some 16 mg juices waiting in the wings. That's why I tend to lean towards the t3s, evod, etc. Because I can just replace a cheap coil and keep on vaping. Not interested in diy or rebuildables, nothing wrong with that, just not for me. I bought the pt 2 clone because it was a cheap way to see what all the fuss was about.

I'd go with the t3s or evods until you get some plastic tips for the miniprotanks.

There's also supposed to be a glass version of the evod nowadays.

Hey, your post inspired me to buy something (which I hardly ever do, ha!).:D I just ordered a couple of the T3s tanks and some coils. They look pretty nice. Like you, I think the plastic/cracking thing is overstated sometimes. I have some old Evods that I used juices in that were supposed to be tank crackers, and they are just fine.

And about the one you don't like, that leaks, is it the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro? That surprises me if it is, because I have about 5 of them, and haven't had a leak or gurgle from the bunch.

I have been using Aspire BDC ES (they are pyrex). Easy to fill and easy peasy to change the coil. They do have metal drip tips, but I have never noticed any metallic taste when I vape. They are about $9 each on ebay with free shipping or you can google to find them for less. I google for the coils to so I can find the least expensive supplier.
