Ok 1st off.. if you are the owner of one of the stores or a manufacturers rep selling these products, I would prefer to hear from you later.

I want nothing but consumers who are currently using e-cigs..

I have read quite a bit and done my homework.. now I want to hear the current opinions out there.

I really enjoy my analog Parliment Lights.. but I gotta stop! e-cigs may be my answer :)

So I would really love to hear from someone who has smoked parli's and is now an e-cig user.

2nd I would like to buy the most durable.. least hassel unit that produces the most realistic experience. Consider price as a non-issue for the sake of this discussion.

I am not much for flavors..maybe mints, vanilla.. bout it.. so this needs to be close to parli's if at all possible :)

What mg of nic do folks who smoked light analogs use when vaping?

Much appreciate any responses..etc

i would suggest using the seach function at the top and look up stuff. there is a ton of research and fyi our suppliers dont push themselves on you. you have to go to their forum area...i like myvaporstore.com and juicyliquid.com the best thing i can tell you to do is get a naked flavor and try to vape that. i have a NPRO and 801 penstyle. npro is smaller you have to fill more often the 801 is bigger but don't have to top off so much. best thing like i said try to research a bit on here to see what everyone says.

Just an FYI on the suppliers here. Most (if not all) were regular members back when we were all still buying direct from China. They made an investment and opened shop (not storefront) in order to expedite orders and minimize shipping costs, and of course, make a profit. They are the original experts. Several have even gone so far as to design their own e-Cigs and manufacture them right here in the US, in the UK and in Greece. The community has really exploded since first taking off in popularity in 2008.

My point is that anyone selling a product is going to have a slight bias one way or the other. They may be knowledgable but they also are making a profit.

So if you use this product.. and do not sell it, I would like to hear your opinion 1st.. I will eventually court the opinions of some of the retailers/importers etc.

this isn't my 1st day in a forum folks.. simply tell me what you think based on the fairly simple guidelines I have given.

I smoked Marlboro Lights, and Parliament Lights on occasion.

I only just got mine recently, but I love my 510. I got it with 16mg nic, tobacco flavor and 10mg (in a menthol flavor, to try it out).

My only comment is that you may want to start at 24mg first. Its fine now, but I felt the initial withdrawal of quitting when I went to my 510, and briefly thought about a cigarette for that extra nicotine.

Its not too bad right now, but you may as well just start a little higher than I did, just a suggestion. You could even go 36mg and thin it out if you find it too much.

Definitely make the switch though, its completely worth it.

My two cents: First your choice is personal. My experience - NPro, nice unit, attys work well and are bullet proof, tiny cartridge, battery life (charge time) is good. Generic penstyle - longer battery time, cartridge is larger so less need to top up. These were good starters for me.

Now use almost exclusively 510 (dura-c). While battery charge life is not so good (about an hour usually) a PCC on hand handles that. Atomizers are lasting a month to 6 weeks, and batteries are lasting about the same. The cartridges are larger than the NPro, and with the pyramid tea bag filler work just great. This is "my" recommendation.

Best!!

I'm a consumer. Started testing several models before I settled for the 510 due to cart size, vapor, throat hit, and the PCC accessory. My batts last about 3 hours of normal (for me) vaping.

Started with 24mg juice and that was enough to make the switch. Now down to 11mg with 6mg on order.

I get my gear from Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop. Takes a little long, but prices are good and Wayne is fantastic for customer service.

Made the switch on July 7th and haven't had an analog since.

I'll put in my word for the 510. I love mine and actually did try and enjoy the carts that came with my PureVape starter set but haven't smoked Parls in ages, I used Camel Light or Marlboro (Light, Med, Reg) for most of my smoking days. I'm using vanilla non-nic liquid now from somewhere else though and don't miss the tobacco taste at all. You might be surprised at what you will decide about flavour once you get started with vaping. Some people buy several liquids and mix them to conform to their own personal taste. You might need to do that to get it just right for yourself.

I have a 510 and love it, and my son just got one, and he smokes parlament. We got him parlament 24 and 18 mg. He had 2 regular cigarettes his first day, first thing in the morning, and has done the same for the past 3 days. He has only had it for 4 days. I was a Doral ultra light smoker, and on my 8th day, had my last cigarette. It has been almost a month for me. I have an extra 510 kit brand new in the box with a pcc charging kit also brand new, that my friend wanted, than didnt pay me for it so if you want it all for 75. shipped send me a private msg. It is black and has 2 bats, 2 atomizers, wall charger and 5 marl carts. The pcc has a charger for the usb on your computer and I wouldnt even get a 510 without one, you cant run out of charged batteries if you are trying to quit smoking or you will find yourself in 7--11 buying regular cigarettes and be back to square one.

Good luck. I am a Marlboro smoker and have no idea what Parliments taste like. But I have found that I really don't care if my juice tastes like my cigs used to. I mix and match juices to try and get the taste I like, and believe me, it is nothing like Marlboro...lol.

One more thing, I think (just my opinion...) that the most likely regulation to come out will be on the liquid coming out of China. Doesn't mean others won't be regulated or banned for that matter, but I think the Chinese liquid is most likely the first target. So before you spend a lot of time looking for just the right liquid only to find it has been banned, take a look at a couple of the least likely targets (again, just my opinion...). To me, the two that look the least likely to have problems are Johnson Creek and Ecopure. They already list thier ingredients and the analysis done to date doesn't appear to have any nasty things in there. JC is even FDA registered and they say they are working with the FDA to make their juice conform to FDA expectations. Time will tell.

My personal preference is a mix of JC Tennessee Cured and Ecopure Gold. I vape the highest nic content available in both in a 510 atty. Just an FYI...there are lots of opinions, especially on JC juice. Many like them, many hate them. Probably more negative on this forum than positive.

Just food for thought.

I've smoked everything under the sun, depending on what has been cheapest usually. But I have smoked Parl Lights for sure at one time. I was actually smoking ultra lights for a long time, then went up to lights, and eventually reds again since I was trying to smoke less cigs and getting a stronger hitting cig was how I hoped to do it. (didn't work too well)

I use the highest nic juice that I saw at the time, which was 24mg. I figured that I can always go down in levels when I want to, and wanted to start high since I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't get something too low that didn't satisfy me. Being new to vaping, I got the 510 after doing much reading here and elsewhere, and I love it. I also got the Cappuccino flavor since I like stuff like that. However, I have heard that the liquids that are supposed to taste like certain cigs really don't taste like them.
