I'm currently using a sentinel clone with a patriot it seems it isn't hitting as hard as it use to I've cleaned it from top to bottom I'm using 22 gauge dual coil was thinking about getting a new mod was looking at the akuma or should I get an rda is it my coil that is the problem I don't know how to explain it

Could be a few things.

If this is your first rig of this type you may have been incredibly impressed with the performance at first but simply have become accustomed to it.

Coil resistance can change after long or heavy use and maybe you need a rebuild. Of course you could also try a hotter build

How about your batteries? After heavy use or abuse they can stop performing like they used to. If you do decide to get a new mech, the Akuma looks to be a good choice. If you get one be sure to post your thoughts on it (with tons of pics!).

Good point. Batteries may be able to charge to full voltage, however worn and old batteries may sag (voltage drop) when fired

Have you used a lot of 22 gauge kanthal? That stuff is thick and can take a while to heat up.

All depends on your build. Post some pictures of it. Also give some more details so we can better assess whats going on like what ohm build are you using? What type of battery are you using? Whats your wicking material? Did you drill out the airholes on your patriot?

Maybe a good cleaning is in order specifically the threads and connection points. Every 2 weeks I take some isopropyl alcohol to my mods and clean them good, you'd be surprised how dirty they get. Water just doesn't cut it, but maybe you used alcohol already.
