:confused:Hi All, I received my first e-cig (Blu) about two weeks ago. I'm excited that ecigs will probably result in quitting smoking but have had some frustrations that keep me on the tobacco. Newly charged battery and brand new cartridge - life is good for maybe three or four hits. From then on it sucks. I lose the hit in the back of the throat and the flavor. If I let it sit for two or three minutes, I get one good hit, then it's set it down and wait - any suggestions??? Is this normal? Thanks.

I looked at the 510's a little today, just trying to figure out the difference between all the products, I think that's why I chose blu as a beginner, it seemed easier to figure out for a novice. I have a new atomizer coming, if the cigs still smoke the same, I'm returning it - I received a new battery tonight and there is no difference. I'll probably be back for help with the 510 but hopefully just learning how it works - thanks to all for you help

Why don't you just get a KR808D-1 if you want something simple ? you just screw the cart onto the battery and vape it.....

And i don't know why people always make out that a 510 is always a lot cheaper, you can get a KR808D-1 starter kit for 36 bux at vaporkings.com with a 10% discount code.

I think what you described about the inconsistent throat hit and the problems you have are very common. I experience this quite often. The ecig will be producing good and then all of a sudden it stops working as good. If I let it sit a while it will work again. This is what's so aggravating to me about vaping. For a while I am getting good throat hit and plenty of vapor and then all of a sudden it stops. I know most people tell me its the atomizer or its the battery or I need to add more eliquid but I have done all of these things and it still happens. I have all knids of ecigs, different batteries and atomizers from an Nipro, 510 to a Litte Chuck. I have the same problems with them at different times. I can't hardly believe that everybody's ecig produces 100% of the time. I been vaping for 8 1/2 months now so I know all the in and outs. I know what to try when it is not producing good. I still have the same problems over and over again. If it wasn't for the health benefits I would go back to analogs.

I don't mean to discourage anybody but I am tellilng it like it is. My health has improved 100%. I can actually breathe and have completely stopped coughing. So I continue to vape.

I like the size of this better than the 510's any thoughts?
ive heard good things about the 801 i would say go for it after a while with the money you save from analogs you can pick up 510s and 901s to try or other models .really al these reviews are peoples personal preference so it may just be finding what works best for you through trial and error

Thanks - that's exactly what I'm experiencing and keeping me from quitting the analogs. I was hoping the 510 would be better but doesn't really sound like it - thank you for being truthful!

It wasn't a matter of simple per say. It was more a matter of finding something I thought I could figure out how to use as a newbie, and calculate the future costs. All the info available can be overwhelming especially if you've never worked one. If I can find one that gives me a good throat hit after a few drags, and doesn't need a replacement cartridge after a few drags I'm sold. I'll check out the KR808D - thanks :)
