Cool thing about Mech Mods. You can run just about anything on them...as I do...factory atty tanks or rebuilds. VV/VW...not so true. Like the new Smok Rocket. freaking awesome...but...it won't run any rebuild below 1.3 ohms or it will cut-out. I rebuild factory atty's for my tanks also but then can't run them on my VV devices because I build at .7 ohms for the Mech Mods. I have 5 RDA's and 5 RTA's. Love'em...oh and now at 10 Mech Mods and 3 VV's.

If you want to be able to run both rebuildable and non-rebuildable tanks... go with Variable Wattage mods... a good 30-40W mod would be sufficient... or get one of the high wattage capable 150-200W mods... you can put any topper on those that you want and just adjust the voltage/wattage as needed to get the best vape.

Ohm's Laws? The Electronic PoPo gona getcha. "Watcha gona do when they come for you"....LOL....Hay..all b.s. aside...Get one of those builder thingies or a multimeter. Plus and minus connection for a resistance test after build. Watch a couple youtube builds. After you do one you'll go..."Hell...as that all there is to this?"

Thanks. Also. Advice on itaste134 vs cool fire 2. Regardless of price difference. And would the magneto be a good mod if i do get into rebuilding. Any chance on damaging the mod while practicing building.

Funny you should ask that. I have a 134. Just got the Smok Rocket yesterday (GET ONE!). I did one of my .7 ohm builds and the Rocket, and 134 kept cutting out. So....I wacthed youtube vid on the Rocket. Well....the circuit protection in VV/VW mods wont operate below 1.3 ohm. Sure enough. I did a rebuild in the Kayfun to 1.3 ohm and put it back on the Rocket and.......cloud city with tons of nic and flavour. And no..you won't hurt anything. They both have protection to cut-out if you mess up. Still...always do a resistance test with meter before hitting the power to it.

Any chance on damaging the mod while practicing building.

Yes, you could damage your mod and yourself if you do any of the below.

1. You build a coil and fire it on a mech mod without measuring the build.
2. You build a coil that exceed the amp rating of your battery.

'In other words, you need to read (and understand) all about battery safety, Ohm's Law, amp draw, etc if you are going to be using a mechanical and/or a rebuildable. The safest way to start would be with a regulated mod and a rebuildable.

Treborsmog. I see aboit tje rocket. But the itaste134. Get or dont. Keep on mind i am new. But learn quick. And once i learn im going want something advanced. So should i get the itaste. Or maybe a magneto2. Im stuck between the itaste134, cool fire 2. And magneto2.

Both of those iTaste mods are good, but IMO technology has passed them by. If you're thinking about starting to build coils and such, you'll want more power than those devices can put out very shortly thereafter. I'd recommend a 30-watt device at a minimum, that will easily fire stock clearomizer tanks along with rebuildables.

A mech mod will also fire both, but as was mentioned, you'll need to study up on Ohm's Law and battery safety. It's definitely worth it, but you have to do your homework.
