I've got a couple problems Id appreciate your experienced advise.

I only use the Lemo (I've got three) it's my first and only RTA. I use it with the Provari Mini (I've got two)! All my other e cig equipment is beginner junk!
Both Provari's are under warranty. I had to send one back twice already and I'm still waiting for the repair and today the fire button quit on the other.

    1. What would you suggest I buy to use with the Lemo that isn't so picky about low OHM coils, has a little more power and dependable?

    2. One of the 510 pins on the Lemo appears stripped, it's not firing. I can screw it out all day but it doesn't move. Any suggestions on a fix or is there a place I can buy just the base and replace?

    Thanks a bunch!

She probably has a charger and batteries for the Provari :)

What is your budget? There are so many mods now. Hana v3s are down to $99. Some of the Vaporsharks are less than $100 now, too.

There are a ton of Chinese mods. From the excellent sx mini down to the affordably priced ipvs and Sigeleis and isticks.

The 510 pin on the Lemo can be a booger to get started. A mod with an adjustable 510 will work on it even if its recessed. I guess the Hana v3 isn't the best mod for it, if you can't get it to come out.

I would recommend the iStick 50 Watt. Tons of battery life, compact size, and fits the Lemo nicely.

As for the Lemo that isn't firing, If the 510 screw is spinning but not adjusting, it may just be stuck. On all 3 of mine, the 510 screw was very tight initially. To unstick it, remove the base from the lemo, then hold the lug inside the base with a pair of needle nose pliers. While holding the inside lug, unscrew the 510 screw from the other side with your screw driver. After it's broken free, it will adjust easily afterwards.

    That worked perfect, thank you!

I checked out the Istick 50 and it sounds great!
Honestly I'm dissapointed in Provari's battery life, not to mention I've had 4 warranty repairs on two devices in a year!

Hey doofy, I'm running about 2 ohms mainly because of the Provari. If the coil is under 1.5, forget getting a good vape...
I'm down to using my old Vamo V2 ATM with both Provari's down. One is being returned, the other getting shipped in for repair, again.

    Roxy,
There is no budget on this. I'm off cigs and Vaping without frustration will keep me off cigs, I want the best! Yes, I've got a zillion 18650 and a dozen 18490's so sticking with that battery would be nice (but not Mandatory).

    Thanks guys

What ohms are you running at?

Many will suggest an istick 30 or 50. Avoid the 20.
I like my Sigelei 50w v2, but that involves buying a decent charger and correct batteries also.

Can't comment on your 510 problem...

Do you mind explaining why you like the Sigelei 50w v2 more than the IStick 50?
What exactly do you call a "decent" charger? I need to get a good one, I'm sure mines junk!
    Thanks

A couple of months ago I decided I wanted a 50w mod and narrowed it down to the sig or the istick. The main reason I chose the sig is cos it takes a single 18650 battery (flat top). Despite the isticks phenomenal battery life, I worried that it might die at the wrong time. When the battery on the sig dies I just pop in a new one.
Access to the battery is by a very reliable magnetic door which swings open when you want it to and stays put otherwise. And a single button push locks the firing mechanism so prevents it from firing.

Istick users extol the small size and the battery life, but I'll be getting another mod for back up in a month or so and will probably get another sig50.

A decent charger is one that doesn't blow up your batteries and burn your house down or have "fire" in the name. I forget the names of good ones, but a quick trip to the batteries and chargers sub forum will tell you if yours passes ECF tests. Mine doesn't. :)

I tried messing around with isticks (had 2 between the wife and I) and both broke. Siegil 50 watt was ok, but I wasn't too much of a fan of the fit in my hand. Ipv3, too darn big! I went through a bunch of 2nd mods, and through all of them my Vaporshark rDNA was constant. I finally gave up and just got another one. Couldn't be happier!

Now I run 2 Lemos, as my all day take with me vapes, on Vaporsharks, and one at home on a Vaporflask (which is also an awesome mod, but a bit pricy).

If you want long battery life, the istick 50W is by far the smallest two battery mod. We are suddenly seeing a slew of issues though :( We think the majority of them are caused by subohming or leaking juice, but we aren't positive yet. I was a big fan and have 3, but now I'm leary.

These mods also use two batteries, but are big: Hana v4D, Sigelei 100/100+/150, ipv3 and 4, Vapor Flask. The Vapor Flask is the most comfortable to hold if you are right handed. Lefties sometimes don't like it I guess. I don't have one so can't give you any personal input on that. Due to my arthritis, I do usually vape left handed so I've been unsure about getting one.

Most mods have the ability to change the battery just like your Provari.

I think my Yihi sx mini is the best mod I've ever used. The new m class version is now available and when I can afford to, I willbe getting one. Stock is flying off the shelves so by the time I have the money, hopefully there will be more. Its $199. If you buy one today, you can probably get one. Especially if you choose gray/silver or rose/silver.

For inexpensive mods, I do really like Sigeleis, and have 3. They won't win any beauty contests  Big, plain boxes, but mine have been reliable and I like the sx330 chips.

I don't have a Vaporshark. If you get one, get a shark skin because the finish wears easily. And be careful with the DNA30s because there is no reverse battery protection. If you put the battery in the wrong way it will immediately fry the chip. This is true on all DNA30s, not just Vaporshark, but last I knew, on the VS, the battery goes in upsidedown. Some people haven't noticed that and fried it as soon as they got it.

    Great info Roxy!

I read some of the threads on the istick 50W and wondered what was up. Was hoping it was a bad batch and the problem was resolved.
However for the price I'd like to give it a try!

Actually this week is my one year Vaping anniversary :) I deserve two me thinks!

Thanks Par but I don't need a Vaporshark. Seems I'm in a hurry to often and would certainly fry it sooner than later! Switching batts up and down from VS & Provari... Being "blond", I would fit that old cliché phrase.

I don't mind spending $200 as I've never lost or broken one. Yihi in Rose/silver sounds like me, anniversary and all!!!
    Thanks again all!
