Hello everyone,
I've been vaping for almost 2 years now. I've been vaping LiquidXpress Honey Flue Cured exclusively for over a year. It is the one flavor that just never gets old to me. Well, the last couple of shipments have tasted "off" to me. And it's not just me. My brother is also a big HFC fan. We've noticed not only a change in flavor, but also a change in color. It has gone from a deep amber to a pale yellowish green.
My question is, has anyone tried any Honey Flue Cured, or something very similar, from other suppliers? I need a replacement all day vape.

Have you contacted LiquidXpress about this matter? They might be very concerned with what you have to say on a product that they modified. I'm just trying to think why they would change stuff up; only thing that really pops into my head is having to change where you get your PRecursors from.

I've written them twice and so has my brother. He also left a negative review hoping it would get a response.
I went ahead and ordered different honey based juices from other vendors. Hopefully I'll find a replacement. It just sucks because it took me so long to find a good daily juice.

What I have incoming. (not ALL honey)

-Mom and Pop Vapor Shop-
Honey Tobacco
RY4v2 Tobacco

-Juicy Vapor-
After Dinner D'lite
Tobacco (Honey Wood)
Honey
Honey & Cinnamon
Honey Flavored Sugar Cookie

-Alien Visions-
Flue Cured
Bees Knees

-Johnson Creek-
Red Oak Marcado
Red Oak Silverthorn
Red Oak Tennessee Cured

-Vaping Zone-
Super Concentrated Honey Flue Cured

-Ivape-
Sweet Caroline

-Aroma Ejuice-
Dark Honey Tobacco WTA

Backwoods brew has honey flue cured. I never tried it but many love it. The only problem is they flavor it with flavoring from LiquidXpress so not sure if theirs would change too. I am just glad I bought several large bottles of HFC flavoring months ago... They have had problems in the past with taste changes so I made sure to stock up lol.

Liquidxpress HFC was the bomb...never tamper with a bomb. good luck.

I used to vape HFC exclusively and then branched out and found Avejuice.com and bobas bounty....everything is okay now....different tastes though.

I like trying new flavors/vendors too...so, I'm trying vapedudes.com's buttery nipple and blue honey....also trying heather's heavenly vapes ghandalf, gollum and shadowfax.

Would love to try bountyhunter and gold by nitelitevapor but....grrr...can't get my claws on any.

vape on.

Just got in the new sample from Rob. It tastes like the rest of the newer ones. Have 6 bottles sitting here. Looks like the old Honey Flue Cured is lost forever...

Update: I just got an e-mail from Rob. He said they are working on a solution to the problem, but it will probably be after the holidays.

Very relevant topic to me, thanks caughtus. I've actualy been looking for an alternative to BWB HF and figured to try the flavor they use in their mix (liquidxpress). This is the second time I order HFC from liquidxpress, around the same time as your last post, and while it is second to BWB I tasted a weird, slightly chemically flavor. I'm wondering if I should contact Rob as well, but since the first time I tried it was maybe 2 months ago I don't have much of a case to compare the old flavor you say you were used to and liked better.

In any case keep letting us know how it goes and good luck.

Hi Caughtus - Sorry for the delay in replying . . .

First of all thank you for the prompt reply to my PM and for letting me know that none of the juices you listed as trying measured up. Somewhere down the line I will try the one you recommended as having liked.

For any of you who are relatively new fans to HFC I would like to assure you that if Rob can do anything to fix the situation he will. HFC has been my all day vape for almost 3 years and in that time there was a problem about a year and a half ago (the chemist was using the wrong type of honey) and it was fixed and for all of those who liked the new "honey blend" Rob kept making it.

I've been an online shopper of all things for well over 12 years and I've rarely if ever come across an owner who has the integrity of Rob he is one of the good ones so again, if anything can be done Rob will do it.

As for myself I have tried:

1) The flue cured from MyFreedomSmokes and didn't care for it (too sweet)

2) The Black Label Honey Flue Cured from Spring Vapor - did not care for it although the owner Nik is FANTASTIC.

3) The Honey Flue Cured from Vaping Zone - the best of all 3 but still not "good enough" IMHO

4) Some tobaccos like Maple from Backwoods Brew and while I think they would be great for ex-smokers who still haven't gotten their taste buds back they were too "smoky" for me.

So as it stands now I am back to Halo - I always liked Halo but to me HFC was just SO PERFECT that I just left everything else in the dust. I like to have an all day vape instead of jumping from flavor to flavor so I settled on Halo's Tribeca (an RY4 type) to be my all day vape while I sit and PRAY that the old HFC magic will return one day. It's all I want for Christmas, SANTA!!!!!!!!!!

IMO the "new" HFC tastes to me like it's just the honey flavoring without almost no if any tobacco but it isn't just the flavor (and color) . . . it's hard to describe but I use cartomizers and in the past when I was using HFC when I took the white cap off to refill there would usually be some liquid on the inside of the white cap and it would be almost clear in color. When I would try to refill with the new HFC the cap would have a very dark brown liquid on it - much darker than the color of the liquid itself . . . if that makes any sense.

If anyone comes upon this post and feels there is a difference between the old HFC and the new, YES please do let Rob know. If only a handful of people speak up nothing will change and my beloved HFC will be lost forever. And People I CANNOT LIVE without HFC!

I'm in the same boat, hfc from liquidxpress has been my all day vape for two years now and I'm currently searching for a replacement. The hfc now turns a dark brown color quickly and gunks up atties. The taste is not what it used to be. I also let rob know in an email. Bwb tobaccos have a very different underlying flavor that I'm not a fan of. I have some juices coming from vapingzone, ave juice, and Heathersheavenly. I'll update if any of them are a standout. Let's hope Rob gets it sorted out because their hfc is the best.

EXACTLY - I don't use atties but it does the same thing to cartomizers. It's really quite odd.

Thank you so much for letting Rob know.

The more days that have gone by the more I'm feeling that Halo's Tribecca is a very good back-up. If you Google Halo Tribecca review you'll see a lot of people who are really impressed by it . . .
