18650 icr samsung 26f and 26f -m Ik they are actually not a true "icr" there a hybrid of a icr and imr but every were says the max discharge current is 5.2 amps but what's the pulse ? I'm running a .25 on it all day and ran about 3 batterys dead no problem no venting or heating up of the battery, my local vape store stopped selling purple efests and started selling these samsung 26f and they keep quoting me they have a 20a pulse from the manufacture but I can't even find that some site I found says they have a 30a pulse but I don't belive that to be true either anyone know what their true pulse is so I don't blow up my mod

That's the pink one right? Yeah, you're literally playing with fire using that battery at all in a mech, let alone at .25. It's not a hybrid that I know, it's a straight up Li-Ion ICR battery that when it vents, it can do so with flame and may explode.

Usually when calculating amp draw you would use the continuous amp draw of the battery to determine if you are within limits. Using the pulse is asking for trouble.

I would recommend you get some good quality Samsung 25R batteries or similar before you have something bad happen. Use that battery in your flashlights.

Doesn't matter what the pulse rating is if you don't know the duration of the pulse.

A pulse rating defined by a 1 second pulse is not any good for vaping; worse yet of course if it is a millisecond pulse.

Use IMR batteries.

My problem is finding a way to obtain good batterys due to no credit card

Buy a prepaid card, get someone with a CC to order for you or call around your local stores after doing your research to see who has the battery you want in stock and go pay cash for one.

Whatever you decide, I recommend you do it sooner rather than later.
