I just got my sigelei 150w and 4 Sony vtc4 batteries I ordered from elev8 do I need to fully charge the batteries before I use them in the sigelei? Or can I use them as right away then charge them once there fully dead or does it matter either way? Thanks !
Batteries are shipped from the manufacturer with a maintenance/storage charge of only 3.7 volts. Depending on how long the batteries sat before you bought them it may now be a lot less than that, and they may not all be at equal voltage. Fully charge them before using.
Cool thanks guys I've also heard the batteries need to be married to the mod. I ordered 4 batteries so I can always have a set in my mod and a set charging will it be ok to alternate sets? I'm planning on number one one set 1 and 2 and the other set a and b and keep 2 different sets but is it ok to use the different sets in my mod? And should I use the batteries tell they are all the way dead or just tell about 39% or somthing? Aone more question are the Sony vtc4's the best batteries to use that's what I ordered? Sorry one more question I've also heard that it's a good idea to switch spots with your batteries in your mod at 59% Cus one will always drain faster than the other is this true?
I wrap a little piece of painters tape on my batteries to make sure they stay in pairs, once I charge mine I run them totally down once, and then never completely dead again. I don't know if it helps, that's just a ocd thing probably
Different sets are fine just just dont start mixing up batteries. The theory is over time they get broken in together, with the same amount of stresses and wear making them equal.
Okay cool thanks for the help! I just know the batteries need to be married to the mod but can the mod be married to two sets of batteries? Lol I just don't want to mess Anything up and trying to figure out the best way to alternate all 4 batteries without harming the batteries or the mod!
Just number or letter them. My batteries are all marked with a sequence number and the date I first used them. This provides me with an opportunity to keep track of them, and engage in "rational replacement" as they age.
Keep your pairs together and you shouldn't have any issues...
I've been reading about batteries on here and have not used any batteries in my mod yet but I boight 4 Sony vtc4 batteries there 30 amp antteries right? Can I reach 150 watts with theese batteries? Some one already told me theese batteries are good but I always want the best! I love vaping! So what are the best batteries for the the segeli 150? And sence the vtc4 is 30 Amos that does mean sense there's 2 of them that that makes 60 amps?
