I'm an old school vaper for the most part. No matter what other devices I've tried over the years, I've always kept a classic Joye 510 in the mix. I just like the simplicity and reliability of it. I also really like it paired with a mini Ego battery so it's pocketable. But because mini Ego batteries have always been over-priced, I've buying generic "mini eGo" batteries for a few years now. That last few times I bought some, though, I got some duds that either wouldn't charge or they'd get scary hot when using. So I don't think I want to gamble on generics any more.

That brings me to my question:
What device might work well for some old school vaping with a Joye 510 atomizer? I'm preferably looking for something reasonably small/compact, even if not exactly pocketable.

Almost every mod available has a 510 connector so they'll work. You'll need something that'll be adjustable to a low wattage. The Eleaf Pico is a really small mod that goes from 1-75 watts. You'll need a good external battery to go with it. I'd recommend an LG hg2, Samsung 30q, or Sony vtc6. All three will be good for up to 60w (if you'd ever feel like trying out higher wattage vaping) and have a high capacity of 3000 mAh, giving you a lot of vape time at low wattages. A mod that goes to 75w might seem like overkill, but you don't need to use it that high.

Cool. That's the kind of thing I was looking for -- a smallish box mod kit that I could also use for my classic 510 atomizers. Thanks for the suggestion.
