New here, hope I'm posting in the right place. If not please forgive me.
First, I love my KR808d-1 auto battery. The cartomizers I have used are pre-filled Vapor4life and Premium Brand. I've started refilling them. I like the Vapor4Life initially, cause they give a great TH, taste and vapor. However, they die quickly when refilling. The Premium Brand, last a touch longer when refilling, but new they have almost no TH, taste or vapor. I've tried rinsing with alcohol and letting airdry and refilling. I then get a cloud of vapor, but no TH or taste. TH is important to me. Seems like after a few refills, the taste and TH are gone.I've read mixed reviews of the Greencig carts, saying great longevity, but bad taste. Also about trying different brands, types or blank cartomizers. I'd glady make the switch, but I'm hesitant to try, because I'm on unemployment and want to make sure that when I spend what I have, I get the most mileage I can. That's another reason I stopped smoking. I used to roll my own, so spent about $30.00 a month on tobacco. I've spent more on cartomizers. Yes, I love vaping and plan on sticking with it. Just need some sdvice on Best cartomizer.
Thanks,
Gwen

The refill juice your using is alot of time going to make more of a difference on the cartos. The greencig carts are not worth it not that good. Some of the 510 cartos do seem to work better all you need is a addapter.Places like nhaler have cartos in low resistance (lr) or regular.I beleive that is what turbo carts are also at vapornine.

I think you could get excellent results with your KR808 if you had a manual battery versus the auto one. I have a KR808 and it's fantastic .. now .. however when I first ordered it I got the auto battery and the same thing happened to me that you say happened to you. Rather than dump the whole kit I ordered a manual battery and it made everything different! From that point on I love my KR808. I vape 70-80% PG (20-30% VG). I had smoked marlboro reds for 40+ yrs before starting to vape, my first kit was an eGo plus the KR808 auto battery. While I waited for the KR manual battery to arrive I used my eGo, which was great .. however once the KR808 manual battery arrived and I saw what a huge difference it made in my vaping, I totally stopped using the eGo because the KR was giving me everything I needed. If $$$ are important to you then think about just ordering 1 or 2 KR808 manual batteries and see if that changes things for you.

I've thought of that, but I really like my autos. They have a lifetime warranty too. They work fine, it's the darn cartomizers. :)

Well, performance of cartomizers does tend to lower a bit after cleaning and refilling a few times, and VG does give less of a throat hit than PG. I have not tried the Premium Blanks from V4L yet bc of the price (they're called WOW blanks now), but I have heard they are great. I personally just buy the cheap generic blanks in bulk from whatever site seems to have the best deal at the moment (I do a lot of google searching and searching on the forums, then see how much they'll cost me per carto after adding in shipping and any discount codes I can find). Best deal I've found so far, though I haven't ordered yet (plan on ordering one lot next month) is here:

And just so you know, I talked to the supplier to ask about color options...if you're ordering only one lot or a couple lots, the color options available are only black and white.
I'm guessing these are just the generic blister pack blanks, but those have suited me just fine.

I have several Kr808's and after trying numerous cartomizers now use CigEasy's "Gold Label" cartomizers (Turbos). They give good vapor production, last a decent amount of time(longer than the regular cartridges) and a "decent" throat hit. Now I use only 16mg. carts so if you went with their 24mg. I am assuming it would also increase the throat hit. They are $8.95 per five-pak of carts plus shipping.

One more vote for what D103 said. The Gold Labels worked better for me than the V4L premiums and coolcarts I tried. I've also heard good things about the Vapornine turbo carts but haven't tried them yet as I'm pretty stocked on Gold labels right now.

D103 is also correct on the increased throat hit by switching from 16mg to 24 mg Gold Labels. I've tried both.

I'm currently trying some 510 LR cartomizers (with an adapter). Havent used them too much yet since I just got them today, but initial impression is the KR8 are at least equal if not better.
