Need E-Cig Recommendations from people with experience!

Hello All,

I have been vaping for about 4 months now and have a cheap 10$ e cig that I bought through fast tech. Unfortunately the battery is falling apart. I recently went to the vape bar and watch this guy shoot out clouds bigger than a normal hookah cloud. I am interested in upgrading my current device to one that can produce bigger clouds and is overall a better smoking experience. I am not trying to spend over 100$.

A few I have been looking at are:

Vamo v2
Vamo v3
iTastes SVD

If you guys and gals have anymore recommendations that would be great or which one of these that I mentioned produce bigger clouds and a overall better smoking experience.

This is the device I currently have
$13.99 EVOD-MT3S 1100mAh Rechargeable E-Cigarette Starter Kit - green / 2.2-2.6ohm / USB charging cable at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The unit you have is a clone of the Kanger Evod battery and the MT3S atomizer. That is a good performer, although you would get better performance using 2.2, 2.0 or 1.8 ohm coils.

The Vamo V3 and the SVD are both outstanding. You can't go wrong with either one.

The chief differences between them and your current setup is that they offer variable voltage, variable wattage, the ability to check the resistance of your atomizer and the ability to use different battery sizes and capacities.

Don't get the kits. Instead, just get the tube mod itself and invest in a quality charger from a reputable vendor, and get quality batteries from the same vendor. RTD and Discount Vapers are two great places to shop for equipment.

You'll still be under your budget.

What he said.

What you may also want to do when asking for suggestions is list what your looking in getting out of your new device. Some devices offer features that others don't, and several devices are designed differently as far layout and such.

I'd agree with that. For me the SVD edges it because of the button control system. I think the Vamo has one button(?) but the SVD has on/off/power and a plus and minus. Dream to use plus, yi know, lightsaber.

One thing to think of, the SVD is not a small mod. Even with an 18350 battery in it it's pretty big. I love that about it, but you might not.

Vamo V3 has three buttons. Power, minus (left) and plus (right).

The SVD is a beast, and so is the Vamo V3. Like I said, you can't go wrong with either one and it all comes down to personal preference.

Zmax is another nice option, as is the MVP for a different look altogether.

I think you should try out a carto tank. I love ibtanked and boge lr laser drilled cartos, but if you want to stay cheaper you could try out something like the AGR tank or Smoktech UDCT. Just note whether you need flanged or unflanged cartos (AGR takes unflanged, and smoktech UDCT takes flanged for example)

My blog entries are all cartotank related and give some tips on priming them etc.

Also id probably go with the Vamo(i own a Vamo, its great for the money) over the SVD, but right now im considering a Sigelei Zmax V5  someone stop me from buying stuff

yep, the devices you list are very good. The variable volt / variable wattage will do the trick.

I have both a Vamo and SVD. I prefer the SVD for a couple of reasons, the biggest being the center pin is spring loaded where the Vamo's is a fixed center pin that you have to fiddle with every now and then. That and the SVD looks like a mini light saber. What's NOT cool about that?! :D

I have both also.... both are good and both will serve you well, I would give the edge to the SVD..just my opinion,,BUT...it is a battery hog and its a bit heavy.

As mentioned above also, the MVP is a beast..... will last you 2.5 days...abnd is probably the best bang for the buck as far as chineese mods go. You just have to not mind holding a square box. The MVP was my first mod and still keeps on rolling....

Its been said already,,but if you want big ole clouds, add more VG to your mix. I can get huge clouds off of what you got from Fasttech.... (of course those FT egos have an unbeleivable failure rate unlike the E-Joy ego's)... Ive bought probably close to 20 of those FT egos for me and the family.

Good luck.... good advice on this thread.

100 bucks may not be enough - seeing your deciding on a good vvw mod
consider
VV Mod 40-60
at least 2 18650 (aw) imr batteries 25
good charger (star) for 2 batteries, very important 30-40
I think it is money well spent to buy decent stuff on your 1st upgrade, the batts, and the charger will be there a longer time.

I don't see much reason to go with a V3 over a V2. There's no real added functionality that I know of, and I just think the V3s look kind of goofy.

I thought the V3 looked weird the first time I saw it. Now that I have it in Stainless, I really like the look. Functionally, the V3 has the OLED screen with RMS as the only option, which is better. The drip well is wider and removable now, which is better. And the threads on the V3 are way better than on the V2. I have three Vamos including a V2 and two V3's, and I think the V3 looks better, and definitely performs better. Many of the common chip problems in the V2 are fixed on the V3. Overall, the Vamo V3 in stainless, is a better APV, imho. Do the research, and get one and hold it. The grip is better on the V3 and the lines are almost invisible in the stainless. I do agree that sometimes the V3 doesn't photograph as well as the V2 did, but in person, it's fine. I actually prefer it over the V2 now. YMMV. My two cents.
