So I recently went from an eGo to a Silver Bullet.

Here is my issue... I have an eGo Mega Dual Coil Carto full of Bounty Hunter and a Boge 2.0 carto full of Boba's and they both taste better on my eGo, but I love my bullet.

I believe that this could be a simple math problem. Right? The only thing that's changed in this equation seems to be the resistance right? Although more heat could affect flavor...

Anyone have any insight they'd care to share? All input is greatly appreciated!

I feel like the switch to 3.7 has left flavors tasting muted...

Since the EMDCC's are 1.5ohm, try using something like a 1.7ohm carto and see if that helps. 1.7ohm cartos will still give a nice warm vape, but it's not quite as warm as a 1.5ohm so maybe that will kind of counter the slightly higher voltage that a 3.7V PV gives compared to a 3.3-3.4V eGo.
I recommend trying the Ressurector cartos. They are 1.7ohm and they give a great vape. CCVs prices are good too and if you buy a 15-pack you get a free drip tip with them and they have free shipping which is always a plus. They are the only cartos I use on my 3.7V Epower and I love them. I have a 3.5ml tank with a Ressurector in it, filled with Bobas right now and it tastes awesome. They hold alittle over 2ml of juice so they last a pretty long time before you need to refill them, and if you want to refill even less often you can put one in a tank which they work awesome in. I use the Smoktech 3.5ml tank bc they don't look weird/awkward on the Epower and the bigger tanks make it really top-heavy, but for a much bigger SIlver Bullet, the bigger 6.5ml tank looks great and then you can go even longer without needing to refill. The Smoktech tanks are very cheap and they work great. You can get one from CCV for under $15 and it comes with a 1.5ohm dual coil in it and a drip tip which makes it an even better deal. I don't like dual coils at lower voltages so I took that carto out, but you might like it. You can use any XL carto you want and punch your own, or if you end up liking the Ressurectors, CCV sells pre-punched Ressurectors to be used in the Smomtech tanks, and they have the metal base on them like the DC that comes with the tank. You don't have to use a carto that has that metal base, but they are kind of nice bc they stop the tank from being able to slide down.
Goodluck with your SB! I think your just used to the lower voltage eGos, but once you find a carto you like and get used to a 3.7V PV, I think you'll realize they are a lot better and you'll really like it

I recently switched from the 2.8ohm ce2's to a 2.0ohm IKV LR carto and I find that the IKV filler carto DOES taste the same, but it produces more vapor, I also have 3.0ohm boge's on my carto tank and the flavor is muted. So the atty/carto that you're using DOES have something to do with it. IMO 3.7v does taste better than the 3.4v of an ego but there is a learning curve.

Due to the slightly higher voltage you burn more juice per puff, and as a result you need to top off your cartoz more often. You can still use LR devices from 1.6-2.0ohms on a 3.7v device and that tends to get you the best result. You also only need to take shorter puffs than you did with the ego.

I'm on the learning curve of switching from 3.7 to VV, which means that I cannot use my SLB LR attys on the VV, and to keep my ce2's wicking I need to have the PV set somewhere around 4.5v. Fortunately for most people there are no serious adjustments like that to make when switching from 3.4 to 3.7v. I would also recommend you buy a 510 to ego adapter so that you can use all of your ego cartos with the SB. Treat it just like an ego.

Resistance in your equation hasn't changed. The voltage has. The eGo runs a little lower voltage (3.4ish volts)

If you prefer the taste from the eGo battery versus the Silver Bullet battery because of its slightly lower voltage, then I would suggest just going back to the eGo battery.

Why mess with trying all new cartos of different resistances just to get to the flavor and experience you enjoyed from your previous PV?

Hey all - so I continued to research last night and I came across a law of Ohm's calculator which has given me a much better idea as to what the master equation looks like in order to bring my wattage back to about what it was on my eGo. Someone suggested if it ain't broke don't fix it - I love my eGo... but I hate it's 900 mah batteries!
