I did some online research, but would like some opinions form real users here. Still searching for my perfect ejuice, and have tried a LOT. Trying to steep some of these to see if the flavor or vapor will improve. So....I took the lids off and let them get some air for about 2 hours. Then I put the lid back on and placed them in a desk drawer (dark and cool I thought). I might try them in a few days I suppose to see if the flavor has changed at all. Is this the typical method? Am I doing it right? Feel like I may have wasted some dough on some pretty nasty tasting juices.

Hi Dash :)
If I do the open bottle thing I leave it open for 24 hours and shake occassionally.
However, I have lots of juice so normally just wait a few weeks before trying new ones

Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I forgot to mention the shaking thing, I did that as well. Some of these are so bad that I can certainly leave them in the drawer for a few weeks! Thanks again :)

Cute puppy pic by the way

Mine go in the UC for about 4 or 5 baths over 2 days. Then I let them breathe for about 4 hours or thereabouts. After that I put them in a covered box where they get an occasional shake for about 2 weeks. I don't normally vape new juice before that. If I don't like them, I try again the next week. With the exception of tobacco flavors, if they're not good in 3 weeks, they go to the 'Land of Misfit Juice' box and there they stay. I may revisit them sometime... but probably not.

Kind of a long routine, but it works for me. :)

Try it out of the mailbox - If you like it, vape away
If you dont - throw em in a drawer, cupboard - shake em whenever you think about it
Test em weekly - If you like it, vape it
If you dont - go back to shaking and tasting weekly

Some juices like naturally extracted tobaccos can change over the coarse of months - I have juices that I won't even think about touching for at least 90 days.

I don't know if there is really a wrong way :) Your method sounds as good as any. One thing, if a vendor goes through the trouble of putting specific instructions on their website on how to steep their juices then I follow it. If there is no specific instruction then I will try a sample after I get it and see how I like it, if I don't like it then I put it away for a few days and then try it again. Unfortunately I am also finding that no amount of steeping is going to make some of the juices I bought vapeable.

I have a fairly simple method. First, I run them under the faucet with hot water...not boiling water.
I'll do that for 4-5 minutes, shaking them as I do it. I feel for the container to be very warm.

Then I take the caps off and let them air out overnight. I check in the morning and sometimes some are darker and ready.
If not I close 'em up and put them in a dark place for one to however many weeks.

When I am really down to zero on juice usually something salvageable comes from the faucet method.

Also there is nothing set in stone as you know from your research.
Good old Father Time for steeping is still the tried and true way.
