I have a ephro 26650 seeker mod and I just bought a battery for it an efest battery and when I put it in it will not fire it I've done everything
I've torn apart and cleaned I've tighten all connections everything is connecting and it won't fire I know it's not the mod because I've put a 18650 battery in there (rigged it to fit) and it fires what can it be?
Please need help

Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with your mod, at all, don't even know if it's a mech, but assuming so by the fact you could "mod to fit" a diff battery size? If it's a regulated, ignore all this as it won't help...
But just random ideas- are your batts flat top or button top? (If your 18650&26650 are different there would be a pointer this is the prob) -- does your mod have adjustable pins like most mechs do? (if so try - extend everything to where the top cap won't quite fit flush, then back your pins off a hair, should get you to flush but touching inside, little or no battery rattle) -- last idea, take out your switch and push the button, does the contact pin when pushed protrude beyond any insulator it might have, I have a couple clones I've had to actually sand down the delrin so the pin could reliably contact the neg end of my battery, before I did that it would sometimes fire & sometimes not

The battery is working now and I'm able to fire the mod but have to push really hard on the firing button what can I do to resolve This issue?
Just saw this, man I took awhile typing mine I guess. Lol. Sounds exactly like what happened with my vanilla & a few others. Check the pin vs insulator issue at end of my too-long post above :) I used a cheap metal nail file to kinda sand down the delrin insulator. Now the pin always touches the battery when I push it. Obv be careful not to take too much off, but all you want is that pin to stick up past the insulator when & only when you push the button...

Sorry for not specifying but yes it is a mech and I have done the above but from what I see going on it poor contact with the negative end I had to push pretty hard to get a complete circuit so it would fire
