Need help buying a device

Hello, I'm new to these forums and I have a few questions.

I currently use the Vamo V5 and aerotank and I'm quite pleased with the performance. I need to buy another device for somebody who recently stopped smoking cigarettes. I'm wondering if I should just get the Vamo V6 instead of the V5. The V5 on mtbakervapor is actually more money than the V6 at smoktek which goes all the way up to 25W

So which one should I get my friend? V5 OR V6
Also, I want to know if this battery will work:
Efest Purple IMR18650 2500mAh High Drain 35A-button top [+$10.99]
2.5AH battery not bad. Even better than mine. Also, can you put that battery in the V5? Or is it strictly meant for V6 only.
I ask because 10$ is worth an extra .5AH on the battery capacity.

I don't think I'm going to get any device except the V5 or V6 because personally I prefer them.

Need help ASAP because my friends starter kit is like 300 degrees. The battery is about to explode so I told him to put it outside. Definitely need to buy a better device today

Get the higher power version, for sure. The battery is good. Its actually a mislabeled 20A battery, but you don't even need this much for a Vamo. It is a good battery though. Good charger too.

The reason for the battery is strictly the MAH anyway. Just want that extra 500mAh

The Vamo V5 puts out a 5A max current. That battery will do 20A continuous, so no it won't explode. You could sub-ohm on a mech mod with it and its not going to explode. You could safely run just about any 18650 in a Vamo. Its a low power regulated device.

Hey Reserve101, just got a Vamo V6 from here VAMO a week ago and it is a solid unit. You have to watch out for the stuff from Fasttech because there are many different Chinese factories making the Vamo and some of them are real trash. The original ones are made by KSD and this one is quality built. Machining is flawless, it's 20w, silver plated and adjustable 510 pin, silver plated battery spring.
Awesome service from Rock Bottom Vapes too. Ordered mine Friday and delivered Monday for $5 shipping. One of the recurring problems with Fasttech is shipping. You could get it in a week, it could be 2 months so keep that in mind also.
