Yes, the new VV Reos will use the notcigs electronics, and either 18350 or 16340 batteries (at least for the Woodvil). I have the notcigs original Infinity, Buzz Pro, and the new VVPV top feeder, quite happy with all of them, the latter two devices have the same regulator that the VV Reos will use, 3.3 - 5.5V, 15W maximum, maintains the voltage properly (no sag as the batteries deplete).

Reo VV Woodvil is supposed to be coming out in a couple weeks, and the Reo VV Grand in the May timeframe.

yes, JmeMCG, i think you are making a great choice. I have had a LT for a couple of weeks now and i greatly appreciate the safety features and i think the ability to vape across a range of voltages will open up a spectrum of flavors and newfound preferences!

i actually vape my LT at work and a friend on the job saw me using it; he proceeded to try it out (basically the whole night) and quickly ordered one. he is looking forward to quitting analogs now! i think you can't miss with this choice; great luck with your experimentation with variable voltages. i can honestly say i could never have qui analogs without a VV PV!
