Hello everyone,
My name is David Cooper and I am 21 years old (will turn 22 next month!)

I am planning on starting to use E-Cigs, because I have always wanted to try smoking just to keep myself not bored and now I found a safer way to do that by using E-Cigs.

What is the best E-Cig I can get my hands on and what manufacturer do you recommend me getting the E-Cigs from? And ehat is the reason that you choose that manufacturer?

Thanks for helping!!

While I'm gonna take a few hits on this, here's the best advice a 76 year old Very Cranky Man can give you. DON'T.....Do I vape...yes! But....I smoked for nearly 60 years. For a large amount of us here at ECF, vaping is what got us away from tobacco. It's also what has kept us from going back. I'm guessing you aren't planning on using a juice that contains nicotine, is that right? My advice, forget about those cool looking devices and stay healthy breathing fresh air.

Thanks for your advice man!!
The reason why I am doing this is because if I get bored I sleep and can't keep up due to no reason for it..

Well if you get bored get a game console to play games, play games on your PC, go for a walk or get a nice hobby to do. Vaping in my opinion is not to pass time because you get bored neither is smoking. the majority of vapers are ex smokers. The best thing you can do is not vape anything. Just breathe the air you are not. Why add more to your lungs when you don't have to. Also if you sleep because you are bored then that is better than vaping and cheaper :) Just my :2c::2c:

I hate gaming, like to read science books, but I get bored due to that I don't have the thing I need to build my own prototype models for what I have in mind. You are right, I might not do vaping at all.. Just need to find a nootropic to use to fix my mood then!! Thanks again!!

If you don't have the habit. Don't start it.

Don't use nicotine. I started smoking roll your own cigarettes because it was a social thing in college that people would do while talking, it could be made into a spliff easily, and I thought it helped me stay awake and focus while doing my readings. At that time there was just one kid in the school who vaped, with a G Pen that had attachments for both the Cannabis oil that would be legalized in the state a few years later and one for e liquid. The idea was that nobody could tell which one he was vaping.

Over the next few years vaping became a bigger deal but the "cool kids" still stuck to analogs. I switched to vaping because smoking made me feel like death and reduced my lung capacity, and because I was no longer hanging out with the kids who smoked. The nicotine addiction remains, however.

My point is, try not to use nicotine at all. You likely won't ever stop. If you don't have a disease like celiac or lupus or mono or something that makes you tired, then maybe your body needs that sleep. If it's really just an ennui that can only be satisfied by building coils and tinkering around to get the perfect vape, then you should vape but only vape exclusively zero nic juice for the flavor. There will be little to no throat hit so if you want to try for big clouds it will be pretty easy to chuck them with the right gear. But be warned that it's all too easy to try vaping nic juice at that point and get hooked.

A few people I knew were big fans of choline and piracetam and SAM-E and other such non habit forming nootropics. I have heard they work well but make sure you buy from a supplier that is actually labeling what they sell correctly, the supplements industry is far far less stringently regulated than vaping nowadays...

I don't have any diseases, but I get bored because I've read more than 1 book a day, it's like a drug habit.. I can't live without reading!

I am a voracious reader as well. But get outside, man. Join a hiking club or walking club or swimming pool or something.
I would be bored reading all day even though I love reading and always have.

If you want good starter kits to vape zero with there are plenty ranging from the joyetech ego AIO ($15-18 plus shipping) to the eleaf pico Kit ($40 plus shipping) or the Smok nano one kit ($50 plus shipping). There is good starter gear for any style of vaping from restricted airflow cigarette like mouth to lung puffs to blowing big clouds from the lung with big airflow.
