Welcome to ECF! There is a lot on the sub-forums. The search window in the upper right can be very helpful.

A lot of good posts on the Nemesis have gone by and I have not owned one. What clearomizer are you using on top of your Nemi? Also, I don't understand what you mean by the battery going red hot. To the touch? What kind (brand, etc.) of battery are you using? You said that you "tried" to put the eGo adapter on. Were you successful?

Posting more/clearer info will help us help you.

Hope helps

The nemi works fine with 510 RBA or rda but was wanting to use my kanger T3s on it so bought a ego adapter but when i put the adapter on and put the T3s on the adapter and try firinging it up nothing happens except the mod goes red hot to the point cant hold it but as soon as i take the adapter and kanger t3 off and put on my rda or kayfun mini it works fine again

It seems that something is not safe. The MOD getting so hot is not right. I did a Google on the T3 to refresh and it doesn't seem to have anything unusual

The MOD being so hot seems to be the actual battery being a probable cause and therefore dangerous. I would replace the actual battery with a tried and true quality one.

Maybe borrow one or just use a battery from a shop to test.

Hope helps

The adaptor is causing a short something touching something it should not that is the only reason. Wish I could help more but yes sounds like a dead short

Yep. There is something amis with the adapter. It is a short. And yes the Efest batteries are good batteries. They are all I use. You just have to know the amp limits and not exceed them (which your Kanger is not). I would advise getting rid of the adapter. :2c:

There is more than one efest 14500, what color is the plastic wrapper?

    Now!:
The first step in sorting this out is to REMOVE the battery from the PV.
If your mini Nemesis is built like a real Nemesis the top of the PV is removable. This should be the only part of the PV that you need to work with.
SO; remove the top cap and install the eGo adapter. Grab your little continuity tester (you do have one I assume), and see if you have an open or a short. You should have an open circuit still. If you have a short at this point the adapter is bad. If the adapter is OK then install your T3. With the T3 installed you should read the resistance of the coil. If you read a short, the T3 is bad. (or the connection between the adapter & the T3 is bad)

It's really easy to test all this with the top cap removed so that you have easy access to the positive post of the PV. (and the battery can't blow up while you're sorting the problem because it isn't there)
