This worked out just great! I've been keeping my eye open for someone to need the meter. Karmakatie asked to pay for it, which I didn't want to accept...but did want to donate to Jack's fund.
Some thing seems wrong with your setup. 4 wraps of 32g on 2.5mm wick should be around 1.5-1.8 ohm range. Your Provari should read it. Make sure your connections are tight or the wire didn't pop. BTW when you get the 28g in your resistance will be much lower if you use the same length of wire for a coil.

The provari has typically read them in that range.......I have made a new coil this evening and now the provari sees it, I must not have had a screw tightened down or something.....mine usually come out at 1.4-1.5 and this one is 1.4 so I feel more comfortable knowing what ohm my atty is.
