I currently use the ego one by joyetech. I have not had any serious problems with it until recently. It doesn't seem to want to charge and it appears to be a loose connection. I'm a carpenter and I use my vape pen at work a lot. I get covered in saw dust other construction type debris that eventually end up in my pocket. Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to buy a case and have no other choice but to find another battery or an entirely different device. I'm looking to spend less than $100.
Any suggestions for a durable vape device would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Tron Tank. Uses your Ego One coils, CL-R are better and easy to rebuild. The Tron is all metal except 2 glass ports, use a vape band around it and it should be near impossible to break. As for mod something cheap, KBOX 40W should be under $30. So $20 Tank, $30 mod, $20 charger and 2 or 3 $10 batteries. Samsung or LG.

If you want another small pen style with better performance SMOK Stick plus or IJust 2 mini are quite small and vape like a beast. Under $50 Personally for travel I use a EVOD 650mah and EVOD tank, should be under $20 and its very small. Set of 2 with coils and wall adapter $39. Ebay has knock offs fly in for $5 total lol. If they break they are cheap thats why I love them. Can't sub ohm with it though.

The Ego One tank and CLR coils are fine. For a mod, I suggest the nearly indestructable Heatvape Invader Mini. There is nothing "Mini" about it. It is heavy, water resistant, shock resistant... takes the abuse I give a mod.

Heavens Gift has them on clearance... dirt (all puns intended) cheap.

In the photo above, it is topped with a Tron-s, essentially an Ego One Mega with different body work. It will use your current cl, or preferably CLR, coils.

Edited to add— I suggest HG2 batteries, or at least HE2s, about $13 and $10 a pair here
Batteries - 101 Vape and a charger, $15-25 depending on brand and whether it's a 2 bay or 4 bay. I got this one and am very happy with it.
Efest LUC V4 Charger - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers

If you do, or plan to try, temperature control vaping, the Invader does that very well, in addition to wattage/voltage mode.

My opinion.

Joyetech were the Mercedes of products from 2014-2015. Make out they are great but actually user satisfaction is low and quality has been patchy. I thought the eGo ONE was a dreadful device, period.
However, at the moment, they are flying high. Since the VT got shelved (although too many people are still buying old stock of this lump of junk) and the arrival of the mini VT and Cubis tank, they have got their act together.

The AIO is so cheap, you could replace it every month and not really care.
If you don't need variable power, the Subvod (basic model) is a tempting prospect, but the tank is possibly too fragile for your line of work.

If it was me, I'd buy a box mod, a protective silicone cover and use that instead of a 'pen' battery.

@Gramdogg suggestion of putting a vape band around your tank (maybe a pair?) might help that worry.

I more or less do the working day with iSticks. I've had four, only the 20w have caused any problems.

There is a new Joyetech D16/22 range on the way. One of those might be worth a look.

Not as much vapor but nice anyway.
The Istick basic kit.
Most pocket friendly device I know of.
I use them out and about and put a little rubber cap over the drip tip to keep stuff out.
Sawdust does not taste good to vape.
A bit over $20 at Ecig.com

Love your Tron too? I hated CL coils, love CLR coils. Super easy to rebuild. Don't get any cooler looking then the TRON either.

A friend got me started with the Mega and CLR coils a few weeks ago. Like them a lot.
Got the Tron yesterday. Like it a lot. Running both side by side, CLRs re-wicked with rayon, I detect no difference with the afc wide open, except the look. Yes, the Tron looks better! Have attempted my first re-coils on the CLR Ti tc head. Even though I had to do it basically one-handed, it was easy and the vape is a pleasure.

I was a GS-Air (and Air M and gs-tank) fan, but these tanks are much better.

The two mods I use are a Pico and VTC mini along with an SV rda. The mods are in silicone sleeves and the rda is wrapped with a tall slip ring to stop leaking in pocket carry. I work on a shop floor, metal everywhere. If the mods are in silicone sleeves and there is no glass in the atomizer they are tough enough for my work environment.

Must be clones right? Cheaper then clones in alot of their products. Nothing wrong with clones, all made in China by the same company that makes the real ones I'm sure lol.
it says 100 percent authentic, first time dealing with efun so its a gamble. But yeah everything is made in china like you said.

Yeah they build just like EVOD's but top screws off instead of pops off. Couple tips with the CLR for you, don't use thicker then 26 AWG and dont force the pin in or you'll rip the rubbers. You can leave your drill bit or whatever in and screw top on to hold it in place as well.
