I heard Pilas were awesome. At that price, they should be. I have the trustfire from amazon and its acting it up. ive had it for a month and a half! I was charging a Efest 18490, and the light went from red to orange then to green back to orange. I put it in my mech to see what kind of power it would put out and it seemed not fully charged. Its a 2 week old battery. my mech with the same rsst usually hits like tyson off the charger. Maybe the confusion lead to overcharging. Who knows.

I decided on getting a Xtar VP1. Its pretty expensive, but so are batteries if they keep getting ruined every couple weeks. There isn't much out on the VP1 as far as durability, but there is a lot out on Xtar. They have a really good reputation in the candlepower forums. I dont have a volt meter. Im probably too lazy to test my batteries after a charge. I just wanna vape. So I went with the VP1. Voltmeter on the LCD. Shuts off after batteries are fully charged. Ive never had a Pila, so I can't compare. i havent had the VP1 long enough, so Im not going to give it my full recommendation.

I just ordered the Xtar VP1 from RTD Vapor the other day. Really looking forward to mine.
