So, I've been vaping for a few months, but I've run into a major issue, and was hoping someone would be able to help me. I'm using a eLeaf iStick 50 watt, with a sub tank nano. I find that the 12mg level of nicotine is the only thing that really helps me vape instead of smoking, everything else isn't enough nicotine. The problem is that most everything I've tried is really harsh at that nic level. The only things that aren't harsh that I've been able to find are the Elysian Elixirs, which are perfectly smooth at 12mg in the sub tank. Can anyone else recommend something smooth at 12mg? Please, I'm so tired of the three flavors that I like from them.

The 2 biggest contributors to throat hit are Nicotine and PG. I don't know what pg/vg ratio you're using but you could always try a high VG juice. Many companies make high VG juice. Other issues which may effect the throat hit are flavors like cinnamon/spice.
Another option is to get a cheap tank and put the 12 or higher in it. Then buy 6 mg for your sub tank. When the itch hits just draw on the cheap higher nic. I used this method to get off the cigs, and used it again as I lowered my nic level down to the under 3 I now enjoy.

Well, the juice I'm using is a 70Vg/30Pg and I've tried plenty of other juices that are high VG and even 100%, but they're still crazy harsh. And I had a smaller tank that wasn't as harsh as the subtank, but barely produced any vapor or juice in my mouth so I get hits half the size, so that really doesn't work either, and only get half the nicotine in me. It's all kinda complicated.
Can you tell us the three Elysian Elixirs flavors your vaping? Knowing the flavors that are giving you problems will help too.

The flavors that I like from them are Apollo, which is Pineapple-Guava, Bacchus which is grape, and Pandora which is banana. I like a lot of flavors, just as far as this brand goes they're the only flavors I like, but it's the only brand I seem able to smoke at 12mg. I also have a cactus cooler, which is like pineapple cherry mango combo, which works smoothly from Vapealicious juice.
You might want to try a less acid vape. I would try a bakery flavor and see if it helps or makes a difference.

I have 2, a .5 ohm coil and a 1.2. See, that's the thing. those are brands aren't hella harsh, but almost everything I try is, but it's the only thing that seems to keep me from analogs, so I have to assume there are other brands out there that aren't harsh either at that level, I'm just having a hard and expensive time finding them.
OK, I'll try that. Would I add the vinegar or Everclear to the juice itself? I've heard that cutting it with pure VG helps but I haven't tried it

I'm kinda in the same boat. There are only two brands of juice (Ruthless and Bamboo Elixirs) that I can handle at 6 mg. Almost everything else I tried in the past couple of months burns my throat too much. That prompted me to switch to 3 mg, which is fine for me in other brands.
