Hello,

I'm in need of experienced help from the vapors on here. :)
I'm looking to buy a small variable volt mod. I have a Sabre touch, but it's just too long.
I'm sure I've overlooked some, although I've visited a lot of sites.
I've found ones that do 3.7/5v or 3.7/6v by changing out the batteries, but I want one
that can be adjusted between the two.

It needs to have good battery life - say minimum 5-6 hours - and not be too flimsy.

I almost ordered the Little Sister, but I've read in reviews that the two 10440's don't last that long.
I'm not that concerned with how it looks, just want it to fit in my
small female hands. :)

Does anyone have suggestions?
Thank you!

Lori

There aren't too many variable voltage mods out there yet. I think more will come soon, considering how popular they are now.

The smallest would be the Little Sister. I have the Buzz by Notcigs, and while it's not exactly small, it isn't huge, either. It works very well, and a set of batteries in it will last me half the day, and I am an extremely heavy vaper. I enjoy mine very much.

I think even with mods, you are going to have some of the same problems as with stock e-cigs. The length of a charge is going to be correlated to the size, and going for the small size is going to cut down on the length of time you can get off a charge. In the works is a variable volt from R&R Manufacturing (the Kaji Ali'i) which is pretty attractive and a nice size (the variable volt is a few weeks out yet). I don't know the specifics, but it does have a good reputation.

Welcome to R&R Manufacturing - Handcrafted Battery Box Mods

Great advice, thank you!

Good to know I haven't lost my research skills. :)
I need to find that post from Youtubevideo (I think that was
the username) where she has her HUGE PV collection pictured and numbered.
I've seen a lot of pictures of the Buzz, but not in comparison to other sized mods.
I'd love a Fist pack, but that $199 price is a steep jump. I haven't even heard of the Kaji,
I'll take a look at that one also,

The little sister is still looking good - but I heard back from Ken about the Big Brother
The big brother is made from a 2 cell AA box. It is thicker and
wider than the LS, but the BB is shorter. There is a picture of it
on the home page below the video reviews. The BB will use 2 14500
batteries. The battery life will be better on it than the LS. The BB
will sell for 75. There are about 11 people in line for it. We
wanted to have this ready around August 1 but the LS orders have
kept us too busy. 2 or 3 BB will probably ship next week. Ken
Any other suggestions? :)

Ah! That's the thread I was thinking of :D

She has the most amazing collection I have ever seen.
It really helped me when I was looking for a 3.7 mod. It should be
stickied somewhere. Now I can look up everyone's suggestions.
.....Wow, I'm really surprised that she doesn't have a Buzz. That's the one I really wanted to see a size comparison on.

The Little Sister is the only one i know of that is small, personally i don't do mods that aren't made of metal i don't fancy all that plastic shrapnel blasting in my face if the batteries decide to flunk. I don't know why you don't find a nice small 6v mod and use a Terminator voltage regulator adapter to adjust it to whatever voltage you want.

The Buzz is uglyyyyyyyy

The Multi-Voltage Tekk Mod sells for only $160
The Tekk looks great - but if i spent $160 on a PV I think my husband would have a coronary. He's
been pretty good about how much I've spent on this stuff - and I've spent A LOT on DIY stuff and
trying out different set-ups.

I definitely prefer metal to plastic. Who makes a small metal 6v mod? The ones I've found have been large - and the small ones have been 3.7v.

If you looked at the Little Sister, you should have seen the Big Brother. I have one, the size is extremely small, I'm a heavy vapor and two sets of batteries gets me through the entire day. Plus it's variable voltage. I can honestly say I could never go back to a set voltage. I have had mine over a month now and still love it. I only wish Ken would do a juice fed with the V.V. model. Anyways, I would definately recommend the Big Brother and Ken. Product is well made at an affordable price ($75), 2 14500 batteries, the size is just a little bigger than two AA batteries and Ken's customer service is excellent. Get protected batteries and don't worry about it being plastic. It's safe and definately worth a short wait.
