Need help from a H16 guru : [ Yeeesh!

Happy holidays everyone,
I have been a e cig user for about 2 years now. So I'm not new to the scene. I enjoy using the H16 with a LR carto. Sad thing is my H16 battery randomly stopped working today and my warranty is up. Good thing is I'm a DIY kinda guy so I think I can manage to put it back together I just need a little advice : )

What happened: I went to use my e cig and it didn't work. Note, I have never dropped this H16 and I was sitting down not doing much as usual. I tried the carto that was on it on my 5v PT and the carto was blown. No vapor and it didn't smell burnt.

Please understand my situation sucks .... I gave away my 510 supplies to my sisters to try and get them to switch off cigs. I only have my 5v PT, juice, and a bunch of LR cartos! I finally got up enough money to purchase my families presents for this year. So atm the really can't afford to spend the $30 bucks for a new battery. So please whatever suggestions you have besides buying a new one would be great. I'll have to scrounge until I get this fixed or purchase some regular ohm'd cartos.

How should I rewire this? I have tried touching wires to the right positions, I got a few flashes but they weren't anything like what I have ever seen a H16 do before (rapid flashing).

Have a look in the mod forum. There's a bunch of battery mods there which could probably house what you have left.
All you need is a 3.7v supply to the same connectors. Worst case is you ditch the circuit and buy a switch.

LR cartos and attys aren't Hello friendly for some reason. I've read it in a few places, but don't have the time to look it up and link it for you. Some folks have had luck using the combo, but it's rare.
