Need help from experienced vapesters about great tanks for flavor!!

That's a tough question to answer as it's pretty subjective. I get great flavor from the herakles tank, but have only used the herakles, arctic, and sub tank mini (which I hate BTW). For drippers, I'd say it has a lot to do with the build. But I tend to find that bottom airflow attys have better flavor, and attys with smaller chambers.
Airflow is the question.
Low airflow tanks many like give me zero flavor.
So on high airflow tanks for me, by far, the Chutulu RTA.
Followed by the Goblin.
Followed at a distance by tanks I use for different reasons such as trustworthyness away from home and the like. The Chutulu is super reliable I just like different things.
I also agree that it is very subjective-while airflow plays a huge part in flavor production, each tank/coil reacts differently depending on the wattage being used. In other words, if you're vaping a Herakles (which is one tank I have) with 30w, you're not going to reach its full potential, when its' max current is 80w. Thus, dull flavor. It's important to do your research and make sure whatever tank/coil you plan to use, you have the power to back it up.

My every day tank is the GEM by Mark Bugs, hands down!! I also have a Rose V2, Erlkonigin, and Squape R.
Diameter. or just overall area? I am looking at the AGA T5 and it is a squat little devil. Otherwise, I have not found anything better than a Rose.
Diameter deferentially make a difference by producing more flavor with less power. However I haven't tried any of the squatty little guys.
Being a flavor person, I look for the smallest chamber. Like to give the AGA T5 a try.

The rest I use are drippers. A lot of tanks depend on your vape style. Do you lung hit, subohm, like airy or tight draws, etc. It also depends on your device as well, I mainly use mechs and sometimes a vw.

These are all dinosaurs now, but I still have them in daily rotation due to...lets just call it poverty. Ranked in order of best to weakest flavor. All except the subtank are clones.
1. Taifun GT 1 (consistently best flavor)
2. Kayfun Lite + v 2 (over a year and still my daily go to work tank)
3. Kayfun 3.1 (the one with 2 air holes).
4. Subtank mini
Strangely, if you reverse the order exactly you get best to worst airflow. Go figure.
