Need help getting started

I apologize if this topic is not allowed, I have tried searching for this as well.

Tomorrow is my payday and I'd like to get started on diy. I'm trying to find a vendor that sells just the right stuff. I've checked out myfreedomsmokes and added it to my cart with some TFA flavorings. Though I would like to know if there's a better site price wise, or just in general for diy materials. I'd be most grateful if you could give me a few vendors that you have used or you have heard good things about.

I also would like to ask for future reference. If I vape primarily a VG based juice, is the PG that comes in the flavoring enough? Or would I need to get a bottle of PG as well?

I forgot a question as well. For the nicotine base, would it be better to get a 100mg base or something smaller? My wife and I primarily use 6mg in rta/RDAs and 18mg in tanks.

Hi @Disradfrac , personally I would get a bottle of pg to keep on hand. As to nicotine I got the 100mg after asking the experts and it is easy to work with. I don't have any children here to be concerned about and I am as careful with it as with drain cleaner. Now the links :

Thank you so much. I started vaping last year, but my last cigarette was in January. I was able to finally quit because I found a better setup than I had. Though vaping being cheaper is something I haven't fully experienced yet. I figured diy should cut down on my juice expenses.

DIY can also be your new "shineyitis". If you have 3 or 4 flavors you love it will really cut down on the cost.

If you vape high VG centration get your NIC in VG. A small bottle of pg is good to have on hand but to thin the mix for wicking purposes you generally thin with Distilled water. The MG strength depends on what your comfortable working with. Most buy in 100mg as it's a smaller volume of liquid to freeze for long term storage.

Mfs is expensive imo. Get your vg from bulk apothecary. Its about 12.50 shipped for 64oz, you cant beat it anywhere else, even with the seperate shipping. For flavors and nicotine check out wizardlabs and rts vapes. They are cheaper per ml of flavor compared to mfs, and at wizardlabs you get free shipping if you place at least a $65 order. Just get a small bottle of pg if you vape high vg liquids. Check each flavor to see whether it is pg or vg based and be sure to add that into your calculator. Are you going to be measuring by weight, using syringes, or just using drops?
