I have been getting dry hits constantly..i changed the coil on my mini aerotank and this fixed it for like an hour.then back to chemical tasting dry hits . So i went out today and bought a mini nautilus and everything was going great no dry hits and absolutely beautiful flavor then all of a sudden the dry hits came back about 3 hours into using my new nautilus.. I am vaping a 50/50 blend.. The vg i use has been pre-diluted with 10% distilled water... The flavor i am vaping is orange mango with stevia by capella there is also a dark brown residue in my tank the same thing happened with my mini aerotank... What could be causing the dry hits and the dark brown substance in my liquid?

I need help as these dry hits are starting to really annoy me!!!

What everyone is trying to say is the ejuice your using is burning your coils prematurly. It's likely the stevia that's doing it. The dark brown residue is a dead give away. If your DYI'ing your mix I would search for a different flavoring that does not use stevia or at least uses very little of it.

I'm betting with the FEW Hours there is a power issue.

Unless you are Vaping MUD FLAVOR you should not be able to clog a coil head in a few hours. However several things must work together to keep a system going.

1) It helps to dampen a wick before installing - speeds initial wicking
2) Power must be adequate to Vaporize e-liquid properly but not so high as to burn the liquids - Darkening is Caramelizing which could be high heat, burning or low heat, slow boiling.
3) Air Flow must be adequate to draw fresh liquid into the coil.

With the Nautilus, you can restrict air flow to increase juice flow.(Tighter draw)

Your problem is likely the way in which you are attempting to use your equipment.

What's happening is the sweetner is building gunk in your coils which is getting mixed with your ejuice only way to really fix this is clean your coil head every time it starts tasting bad or change your juice but if you want my honest opinion you just spent about 30$ on each of those atomizers I would just buy something like a kayfun clone off of eBay or a vape site for 30-40$ it really isn't that hard to build a coil and out cotton through it they hold a lot more juice you get a lot better flavor and more vapor and your coil won't gunk up and fast I went through that whole Kanger aspire ordeal time and time again wasting my money on coil heads but once you try a kayfun you won't ever go back all it would cost you is 30-40$ for the kayfun clone 3$ for a bag of organic cotton and 4$ for 50ft of 30 guage kanthal

And then, you can step the game up another notch and try an orchid, you will be amazed haha.I have been using mine for 10 days now,and my kayfuns and my foggers have all been sitting.Another step up is to use rayon instead of the cotton, you get the rayon right, and you will never even think about cotton again.

I agree on the sweetener though,i have been making a cinnamon danish juice with 1% sweetener, and my wicks and coils are completely black and nasty crud all over by the end of day 2,maybe 6-8 ml through them.

Oh i agree, thats why i said then you can step it up.I would have been lost if the orchid was my first attempt. It took me several days and help from a few members here when i first got my kayfun,as that was my first go at rba's,so i couldn't imagine trying my first time on the orchid.Once you get it down though, these are outstanding.I wicked mine with rayon in a .9 ohm coil and i'm in heaven haha.
