I've got 3 devices, all 510, a Provari, a VAMO, and a Lavatube v2.

I recently grew tired of carto tanks so I ordered a Vivi Nova 2.5 from GotVapes. Works great, I have no complaints other than the tank is plastic. I'm used to having my Phiniac tanks on my devices and compared to them, the plastic tank of the vivi nova just feels kind of cheap as if I could easily break it.

So what I'm looking for is basically a vivi nova 2.5 but with a glass tank. I know there is a model of the vivi nova I have which is tempered glass encased in metal, but I really dislike the metal exterior and design. I'm not rough with my hardware so the glass doesn't have to be on the same quality level as my Phiniac tanks, I just can't stand the feel of this plastic.

Anyone have any suggestions for my situation? I know there are several options for the eGo Twist devices that are what I'm looking for but I'd rather stick with the hardware I already have before letting close to $400 in mods and batteries go to waste by switching to something else. I figure there has to be something out there which will fulfill my wish list (glass that is compatible with my devices, decent liquid capacity as I'm a heavy vaper, and preferably allows for changing of the tip but that isn't necessarily a must) and where better to ask since I'm new to clearos...

There are several glass options: aspire nautilus, Kanger protank and Davide tanks are just a few. If you like your phiniac carto tanks, phiniac also makes replacement glass tanks for the Protanks, bother regular and mini size. I wouldn't be surprised if there are glass replacement tanks for the vivi nova also, but as I don't use that tank I haven't gone searching for one.

Check out phiniac.com. They use quartz glass... however the stock end caps are plastic : /

You can circumnavigate this problem by purchasing the titanium end caps (~$20 for a pair). They also sell titanium mouth pieces. Like SS, titanium will not errode. They have pretty much the same functionality... but titanium just sounds better than stainless steel. A bourgie purchase haha but nonetheless awesome.

The nautilus is glass, but I think you might have a better bet going with Kanger if your going to get an adjustable airflow. Vapor Co | For All Your Vaping Needs! has an incredible deal on the nautilus right now if you enter "flash25" for 25% off, you can get it for like 15 bucks. Locally here it goes for 40. That site also has the kanger kanger aerotank mini, aerotank mega, and aerotank giant I believe. A normal protank 3 by kanger is a good choice for a non adjustable airflow. Aspire BDC has worked very well for me - I got mine gold and it looks pretty sweet. Good luck and I hope things work out for you!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. After looking through them I believe the Aerotank Mega is exactly what I'm in the market for. Holds a nice amount of juice while not being larger than my Lavatube v2 in width. Sounds stupid but I like aesthetics and enjoy my devices and tanks being as streamlined as possible lol.

Good choice brother, I have had one for about 2 months now and love it! If you get replacement heads try to get the new ones they wen't from 2 holes on each side to 1 oval hole on each side and they do work better. Good luck..

Great choice, i got a few of these and would recommend them to anyone after a glass-clearo style tank. Loads of flavour, nice amount of vapour, well built, looks amazing, and the new kanger coils are probably the best stock coils you can get on the market today. I have tried pretty much every other tank suggested to you and quite a few others, none of them including the nautilus come close to the aerotank mega, that's why i sold/gave away every one of em!

Where do you order your replacement heads? I found what seemed to be them on that site, and then I found some individually on another, but I'd rather be sure.

Usually if the site sells the tank, they carry the replacement heads. Another place to check is Discountvapers.com. Hey usually have the best pricing on replacement heads, and the owner adds notes to all the product pars regarding what goes with what.

Nathaniel, how do you know you're getting the new Kanger coils is where I'm at now. Would they be the ones specifically advertised as being made for the Aerotank Mega (and the other compatible clearos they'll fit) or is there something else to look for? After looking around, I kind of agree with something Busardo says in one of his vids where he tells Kanger to slow the **** down when it comes to the different options.

I might still pick up a nautilus for my Provari. I noticed Provape retails them now and I liked the looks of it on the Provari. That way I'd have two clearos to toy with, one on each of my two most commonly used mods.

The nautilus is a great tank, i had one and loved it, my only issue is the coils are hit and miss and seem to die within a few days, and they aren't cheap.

Saying they can be used in the mega is no help unfortunately, as these tanks are backwards compatible with the old coils too. The new coils are listed as 'Upgraded kanger dual coil heads' and 'kanger new atomizer heads' from the two vendors i use. They have no visible wick, the latest ones which i am using have just a small slot on each side. They perform great, last around 2 weeks a pop (depending on your juice and how much you vape).

If you have trouble spotting them a quick call or email to your vendor should clear things up. The new coils come in 2.0ohm, 1.5ohm, 1.2ohm and 0.8ohm, easily the best stock coils i have ever used, just my opinion

Here's a pic just in case it helps u spot them, they look quite different to the older coils

I still appreciate the suggestion 0mg. ;) I am staying away from anything "mini" though because I go through so much liquid.

Nathaniel, thanks so much for the links. I can't get the vapor beast site to open on my phone for some reason but I'll definitely check it out later on my PC. I personally found these on a site I've ordered from before, but I can't tell if its the same product. It doesn't mention anything about being new or upgraded, and it's only available in 1.5 and 2 ohm so I'm clueless.

I personally love how the Aerotanks look on my ProVari and Sigelei Zmax, the stainless steel replacement tube is a great addition as well. I carry my ProVari in a holster I got from Serenity Gear and always worried about bumping the glass off of a table or something at work. I do miss being able to see exactly how much liquid I have left, but it's a small price to pay for durability. I would like to get an Aerotank Giant for my Zmax. I think it would give it a hilariously enjoyable look.
