I decided to get the KTS Mechanical mod. I am now looking into batteries. Could anyone recommend one for mechanical? I keep reading different things. Some say protected, some say buy a fuse, some say IMR

I am hella confused.

I currently have 2 IMR EFEST 2250 mAh 18650 batteries I bought for my vamo. Would these work? I like to get everything from one vendor and purchasing through discountvapers

I also ordering 400 MESH with 32 gauge wire. All recommendations are welcome. Looking for the optimal setup.

Thank you wonderful people!

Looking at these

cant go wrong with real imr. i learned its all in the chemistry and those batterys outperform the protected by quite a bit. definitely would recommend investing in some 18350s. mini mode on the go definitely helps my pocket weight. ime 500 mesh and 28 gauge is the most optimal setup

18350 mode adds weight (for me at least)... Because the mah is so low, I would need to carry about 7-10 batteries to get through the day... But of course it all depends on your build.

E fest works fine with my quad coil builds so on a tank with a single or dual coil shouldn't be a problem. Also the AW works good too but I like the e fest a bit more because it doesn't seem to heat up as fast as the AW. This is my experience with the 2 on .15ohm quad coils.

guppy, 0.15 ohm? That's 28 amps at 4.2 volts. Is it just me or does this seem a bit unsafe

On paper, seems unsafe but I have been vaping for a few months with this set up so with experience, safe. Same goes for silver contacts versus copper contacts... on paper, silver conducts better, on performance, no difference... just my opinions and experiences with them, it varies on build quality so dont think its safe just because it works for me.

Well... I mean... It only has to become unsafe once...
