If you mean a standard boge carto, then yes the coil is just above the air tube with a heat resistant 'sock' between the coil and filler. If you add a needle extension to the bottom feed bottle tube that sticks up just past the airtube, you can avoid hitting the coil. when you squeeze the bottle and take a sharp drag without firing to clear the airtube, it will wet the coil and excess juice will get soaked up by the filler. You want the needle to go far enough without hitting the coil, and taking apart an old carto might be helpful in measuring this.
