Hey guys, i know you all will tell me to SEARCH! but believe me i have. I have been vaping for the past 6 months and have not even TOUCHED an analog :) . i have several Kr-808d-1 kits and it has been enough to keep me from going back to analogs, but i need something a bit more. Longer battery life and more vapor production. I really really do not want to resort back to analogs just because i cant figure out the proper vaping set up. I have seen other ecigs such as EGO, 510s, but quite honestly im fearful because they seem to be so much more complicated than 808's. Any advice is truly appreciated, Thanks vapers

I would have to recommend the lavatube, especially since you can get them for the same price as the Ego now. I started with the Ego, then the Kgo, and now the Lavatube and LOVE it. It's a variable voltage that goes from 3-6 volts although I find that I never go above 5v and really like about 4.7 most of the time. I'm fairly new myself and found the Lavatube to be very easyn to use. Not complicated at all despite being a VV. I got a whole kit with battery, charger, and atty for $60. It even came with a super nice zip up ego case that holds juices, batts, cartos or whatever. Really nice. Let me know if you're interested and I can point you in the right direction. I wish I had gone straight to the Lavatube and skipped the EGO/KGO phase although those weren't bad. if you're not ready for a VV I'd go with a Kgo over the Ego. Hogher voltage, much better vape, and a lower price. Good Luck

Thanks. I have seen those products here and there but it all confuses the hell out of me. Atomizers, tanks, cartridges. Lol i am by no means a stupid person but its hard to learn about all this different stuff when your brand new in the game. And also i thought tho 808's were good cuz they were pretty much the same size as analogs, but something a little thicker wouldnt be too bad. I jus dont want to have a huge mod box lol.

Variable voltage is like a volume control for your ecig. You can vary the voltage from about 3v to as much as 6 volts to tailor the taste and vapor to the atomizer or cartomizer you are using. It's a nice feature that will allow you to fine tune the sweet spot where your juice matches the voltage that your atomizer needs to be at the right temperature on the coil.

Variable voltage also requires a different kind of battery. You will use Li-ion batteries that look like longer models of AA batteries, usually with high current ratings, like 2000mah. These require a charger that is much like a typical AA battery charger, but designed for Li-ion batts. The Trustfire TR-001 is a popular one.

A typical 18650 battery.

If you want to move up a notch at a lower price, try a Riva 510 carto deluxe kit from liberty-flights. It will give you batteries that last 5 or 6 hours between charges and the same 3.7v vape you get from your KR808. It will also allow you to use low resistance atomizers and cartomizers for an even better flavor and vapor experience. The Riva kit with cartos is about $34.95.

Riva 510 is an ego clone. While the authentic ego runs @ 3.3 volt, riva runs @ 3.7 volt and diminishing with battery drain. Your KR808 are runnong @ 3.7 volt too, the same as riva batts. The other difference with ego clone is the thread, 510 threads pv are usually have a lot more of choices of cartos & atties than 901/KR808 threads.
Higher voltage = thicker vapor. Lower resistance (Ohm) = thicker vapor too.

Sent from my mind using my fingers.

If you want to move up a little more go with a kgo works great for the price. There is a wide range of 510 accessories. But depending how long you plan on vaping you might want a vv. I went through all the steps and I wish I would have gone to my final stage and saved some money. I got a vv provari with a tank cartomizer.
