I had a trustfire charger that came with the vamo I bought but seemed to have lost the charger. When I did have it, it would take almost 8 hours to charge 2 18350 batteries. I don't know if this is normal or not, but can someone recommend a new charger for me? I would really appreciate it!

Although 8 hrs for 18350 batteries seems excessive, you do NOT!! want fast charge on high drain batteries. I can't stress that enough.

I have two trust fire TR-001 chargers and they work great for any 3 or 3.7 volt battery.

If you are going through more than two 18350's in a day, maybe upgrade to 18650 batteries.

The Trustfire TR-oo1 is notorious for being a slow charger, esp. for 18650 batteries. It also does not shut off after fulling charging a battery, so remove fully charged batteries soon after they have finished.

I'm a xtar fan. I have had for the xtar wp2 for more than 2 years. Go on the forums and you'll never hear a bad story about them.
The only competition is the Nitecore and the Pila.
Pila is expensive.
Nitcore is newer and I've heard some rumors of issues.

The Xtar Brand is the safe bet based on track record. Mine and others.

I switched from a Trustfire TR001 to and Efest LUC.
Trustfire - 18350 6 to 8 hours, 18650 10 to 14 hours
Efest LUC - 18350 1 to 2 hours, 18650 2 to 3 hours.

I really like my new efest LUC. Just got it this week, and it's working great. I have been using a nitecore intellicharger i2. It also is a good charger. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just had to have the LCD display (which shows the battery volts), the car charging cord, and the USB charging port. lol. So now I have two very good chargers!

best regards, larry mac

I use a Nitecore Intellicharger i4 (4 charging bays). Works great as my primary charger.

I had a Pila for nearly 1.5 years which was a workhorse considering it only had two bays. One of the two bays stopped working recently and I would gladly have bought another, but since I now have so many more batteries to charge I went with the Nitecore. No regrets.

I have the Xtar VP-1. A great charger. The digital display is first rate and you can set it to charge at 1/4. 1/2. or 1 amp rate of charge. I like charging my smaller batteries on the lower setting.

I also have an Nitecore I2, and it has been a sturdy charger for me. It does overcharge my batteries to 4.24 volts, I discovered when checking them on my VP-1. But it is a year old and has probably provided 1200 plus charges for me.

i bought a nitecore from recommendations here. it does not have a fancy digital readout but it knows what type of battery you put in it and knows how to properly charge it. came with a car charger along with the wall charger for $16 from fasttech.

If you can cancel your order, you can get it for almost the same price and quicker from Amazon. This is the one I got (and I paid $17 for it, as my back up to my other i4). Tonight anyway, it's $15. Amazon.com: Nitecore IntelliCharger i4 Battery Charger - 2nd Generation: Sports & Outdoors
