Hey Guys,

i want to switch from cigarettes to e-cigs and although i spent a lot of time on research i just cant seem to find the right one for me.. there is just too much info on the internet to ever understand it all!
So i thought you could maybe help me :)
I am looking for an e cig that is not to big and also has a lot of flavours (so maybe one with e liquid). Also i would like it to have a decent battery life and a portable charger case.. i heard a lot about cigs that would fit my needs but those all seem to get really bad reviews on the internet so maybe you could give me a hint on a brand? i wouldnt mind to pay a little more on the starter kit if the quality is right.
a big plus, but not a necessaty would be if it also looked nice and elegant (im a bit of a girl on that one ;P)

thank you so much for your help, i really appreciate it!! :)

You probably won't find a starter kit with a portable charging kit included. It really depends on how much money you wanna shell out. I'd advise you to get an MVP 2 starter kit from somewhere. It's not too pricey, it looks nice (though it looks like a box) and fits in your hand comfortably. Mine came with an iClear 16, but of course you can swap the tank out for something else if you wanted. You can buy eliquids from any company and use them with any tank. Hope you find what you're looking for!

You may be interested in the Innokin vv3. Pics here: Innokin iTaste VV V3.0 Starter Kit

Also sold here: Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape
That one has a huge discount at the moment.

It looks nice, you can control the temperature of your vapor easily (variable wattage), and it is not too big - sort of Sharpie pen -ish but square. Google a few pics if you want an idea of size in the hand.

If you are looking for a cigarette sized e-cig, you should look into the highly rated G6 from Halo.

In my opinion, the personal charging case is for weak batteries that don't have a long run time. Usually, a kit will have 2 batteries, and I think any kit SHOULD last you all day. With the little e-cigs, it's gonna be tough. (So, just carry a 3rd one...)

Good luck. Find something you'll like, that will satisfy, and get you off smoking!!!

Welcome sonnenblume.

I can imagine that in the US it is as much as a minefield as the UK. Thousands of "fake" reviews and "paid for" endorsements, not to mention prices that range from "Y" to "Y" x 5 for exactly the same product.

Not all e-cigarettes are created equal. Some are barely more than a mild placebo. These are the ones that get all the attention in the UK and 90% of people buy. Most of those go back to smoking because they are not satisfied and because a product that claims to offer 30 or 40 cigarettes in reality doesn't even exceed half a packet (10) in Nicotine.

However, if you buy a true refillable and a medium sized battery, it's hard to wrong on either price or efficacy.

The best bang for your buck (£) in the UK without buying a "mod" e-cig is almost certainly the iTasteVV v.3

We have Spinners and Twists and eGo vv, but I have all those and they are way behind the times...... :)

+1 for the mvp 2.O - i love it.

I regret not getting this first. it is actually cheaper than the "starter kit" is was encouraged to buy from a friend ((2 (non joytech)ego-twists - 2 ce4's charger-case and a bit of free juice.)

I was always terrified of running out of power and buying smokes ....and they broke in half when i foolishly put them in my pocket.

You have already gotten so great suggestions and I happen to agree with the mvp2 because you will not have to worry about having a charger with you because it should get you through the whole day. I a currently getting around 1100 toots on one battery charge. So I love mine but what I really just wanted to do was to welcome you to ecf. I am so glad you are here and asking questions.

You didn't say how heavy a smoker you are but I was almost a 2 pad a day myself. I originally wanted to just vape and save a little money here and there. So I did both for a good while. The more I vaped and the less I smoked, I started noticing my preferred choice of nic started leaning to the vape side. So I started cutting down on the real sigs. By the time I got down to a couple a day, it was awful tasting so I just became a full time vaper. Never had any of the dreaded withdrawal symptoms I had had in the past. It was really "effortlessly" for me to quit. I know you were asking about equipment but I just wanted you to think about the whole plan. Whether this is something want to do in order to stop smoking or whatever you choose. I wish you all the luck in the world and look forward to hearing about your vaping success. :)

The best cigalike would be a 510 battery, a charger and some toppers (cartos, mini clearos like the Vision Nano or Kanger 4 (with 510 connection). Sooner or later you'll probably want to upgrade to longer-lasting battery, and when that happens. I recommend an iTaste VV V3 or MVP2. This way, all your gear will be 510/eGo threaded and the transition will be painless.

If you want to stay with cigalikes, Smokeless Image Volt, Halo G6 and Bloog are all the same (hardware-wise). They are all KR808D-1 threaded.

And yes, you'll need to buy eliquid no matter what kit you choose. :)

Good luck!

If you are a girl and want a pretty one get one of these 1396312002472.jpgThey also come in purple with snow flakes on it, green with a butter fly, black with a skull, black with a quilted pattern, many choices its the MVP 2.0 Shine comes with all the stuff that the MVP comes with just prettier! :)

Agree with the comments on the iTaste MVP and iTaste vv. Both are great devices, but I would lean toward the MVP for sure. The battery life is impressive and it's very well made. Innokin makes really good stuff. If you are ok with something a bit larger and heavier and don't want to shell out the $$$ for a Provari (I have one...great but quite expensive), then an Innokin iTaste SVD is a great choice as is the VTR (which is like an MVP on steroids). I have all of those and love them. Vape on!
