I have the vamo v3 and the kanger protank 1 the coils that came inside them when I got them at my local shop were 2.6 ohm and tasted great but the ones that just came in the package with them are 2.0 ohm and I don't seem to find a good voltage for them to make them taste good with a good vape with it so my question is with the vamo what would be a good coil resistance to get a nice vape as well as good taste?

I have Vamo's also and I do my own coils.
I usually run 2.1 to 2.2 and they work great.
First off, I would suggest you get away from the volts, and use the watt's. (vamo adjustment, right button)
Start off vaping at 5 watts, and then try 5.5, then 6.
Keep adjusting it untill your vape is perfect.
Also, I find different juices prefer different wattage.
Sweets vape differently than tobaccos for me.

Just set the vamo to watts and you'll have no problem with the coil.
I can run with anywhere from 1.8 to 3.0 coils, and with adjusting the watts, they all vape the same.

It's really going to depend on the juice. Usually I switch to wattage mode on my Vamo and start at 8 watts and adjust from there.

Slots is spot on! When I first got my Joyetech e-Vic, I was adjusting the volts but soon switched to adjusting the watts for a more precise "sweet spot" setting. And, yes, juice type is a big variable. I switch between a 60% PG/40% VG type and 100% PG type juice and find the 100% PG needs a little more power to vape good.

so I switched to watts im now getting a great taste but less of a vape I know the way you take it in has something to do with it but I did not change the way I inhaled or anything? im using 5.5 watts

I'm back.........I just shake my head, at how ignorant the store help can be when I hear stories llike yours.

PG is going to give you more flavor, but less vapor
VG is going to give you less flavor, but more vapor

You need to find out what mixure your using and adjust accordingly.
It sounds like your vaping a high PG, low VG base
Next time you place an order, or buy from the store, you are given a choice of what you want your base to be, and you can decide then.
Pick up some samplers in different bases (82/20, 70/30, 50/50 PG/VG) to find what works best for you.

Don't be shy in turning it up or down as need be. I would suggest that 5.5watts may be on the lower side of where people normally vape. I personally prefer around 8 watts. Although I sometimes go as high as 10 or 11 or as low as 6 depending on the juice and my mood.

The great thing with the Vamo is you can adjust it as you need to. Crank it up, if it tastes burnt, turn it down a little. If you are not getting enough vapor, then turn it up again.
