Thanks for all the info. And yes, you are right about avoiding frustration and issues with my e-cig so I don't pick up smoking again. I have always been too worried to mess with my e-cig in fear that I may damage something or make it operate incorrectly and end up going back to cigarettes because I don't have the money to buy another set up (broke college student here, holla!).

Interesting. How would 3mm be too big to be useful when you use 2-3 1mm? Not being sarcastic, a serious inquiry.

By the way, sorry for not hitting the forum again after day one of posting. Various things going on in life have kept me away, but my vape gets me through the day! :vapor:
I don't use 3mm. But if I did want to, I could use 3 1mm strands to get the same effect. I rebuild using microcoils on ProTanks and Kayfuns. I could use a larger drill bit and use 3mm on the Kayfun, but in a ProTank? No way. The wick sticks out through slots in the airflow tube and the slots just are not wide enough to use 3mm.
