Need help placing an order for an incoming Sigelei 100W box mod.

After finding out that all VTC4s and 5s are sold out from reputable dealers, I've narrowed down my search to LG HE2 and the Samsung 25R.

The sigelei is regulated, and from what I understand, runs the batteries in series (2x 18650s).

I never plan on vaping anything over 50 watts... In fact I'm not even sure if I'll be vaping over 30, simply because I've never tried it. I have only vaped on a Provari, which seems to be in the single digits for amperage. I enjoy a build around .9~ but may push it a little lower on something that can fire it.

The reason I liked the idea of the VTC4s, was if I accidentally fired a coil with too low of ohms it would be ok. LIkewise, if I accidentally fired with the wattage WAYYYY too high - it would be ok. A 100W mod is a bit intimidating for me, but I'm looking forward to the long battery life and testing out high wattage.

But let's pretend I like 40w at 0.3 ohms (dual coil). 11.5 amps. Which of the two batteries are best? Which is best if I make a booboo and fire them at too high amps?

Also, is my old pila charger best for these? Since they will be used in series, should I get a charger with visual voltage reading (saw a picture of one around here somewhere)?

Update: I think I've settled for the Samsungs. My question on the charger still stands.

The Pila charger is fine if you are satisfied with LED indicators. I like voltage readings on the display.

The Efest Luc 4 (4 channel) has individual channel voltage readings and three charge rates (.5A, 1A, and 2A).

I haven't seen a Pila charger with a voltage display other than LEDs that indicate charging progress.

I have the NiteCore Intellicharger I4 and the Efest Luc 4. Both are good chargers. The LUC 4 displays voltage and progress during charging. The Nitecore just shows relative charge condition with LEDs. It's convenient to put a battery in the LUC 4 just to check voltage level. It reads the voltage in a couple of seconds. You don't have to get out a meter to check batteries that were charged and sitting for a while. If it reads 4.1v/4.2v it goes back in the battery storage box. If it reads less, I just leave it in the charger to top it off.

There seems to be a lot of settings to mess with over my pila, though. I'm gonna have to do some reading on that so I don't hurt my batteries.

Alright.. I got my charger.

I have these: AW IMR 18350 Batteries: Ecigarette Batteries, ECig Batteries, Battery 18500

and these: AW High Drain Rechargeable Batteries | Best 18650 Batteries

since they are both 3.7V.. Do I charge at 3.6V? What amps should I charge at? I think I read that the lowest amp setting extends the battery life?

And while we're at it... What settings for the samsungs for the sigelei when I get them?

The lowest amp setting will extend the battery life somewhat. It will take longer to charge the batteries at that setting. 0.5 amps is perfectly acceptible though. This would be for 18650 batteries.

18350 batteries need the lowest setting possible. 0.25 amps.
