I am hearing good things about the 306 LR atty, which fits the 510 connection, but have not tried it myself yet. Supposedly it is a powerhouse that keeps on trucking, might be worth looking into. You can get drip tips for it, or use the slide over carts. I know those 510's have a bad rep for burning up too fast. I usually pull all the bridge/wick/mesh out of mine and just drip right into the coil, no more stuff in there to taste burned. Drip tips have made this so much easier. If you are brave enough, take one of your bad 510 attys, practice carefully removing the wire mesh (have to tear it out with out pulling the entire heating element up and out< I use an exacto knife to cut the mesh first) and use tweezers or needle nose pliers to carefully get the bridge and wick out. I use a flashlight to see in there, make sure it all comes out with out harming the coil or the ceramic bowl that houses the oil. I know there are threads about doing this here if you are more interested (resurrecting your atty). Anyway, might not be the answer you were looking for, but it couldn't hurt if you have atty's that are crapping out on you anyway. Good luck!
