Need Help Please

Hi, I'm trying to get back into vaping to try and quit analogs again.... but I'm having a few problems.

First off I'm running:
3 x Protank 2 mini 1.8 ohm
1 x kangertech evod 1.8oh
2 x Evod manual battary 3.7v 650mAh

juice: all are 6mg nic
50/50 paradise vape spartan fuel
50/50 paradise vape strawberry explosion
100vg ultramix vg fresh blueberry
70pg/30vg vapen juice grape

The first problem im having is my juice is giving off a weird flavour every so often and then sometimes it just kills my throat, (Paradise vape 50/50 6mg: spartan fuel )
It worked fine for the first week of vaping then all of a sudden i would get the changes in flavour,
I have tried it in different tanks, i've tried cleaning and its the same thing it will work good for awhile then start doing the same thing.

But my other juices are un vapable. They are just hell in my mouth way beyond a harsh throat hit.

I was wondering if it was a problem with my set up or the juice. i'm sorry if im not the best at explaining things the flavours are hard to explain.

Not sure what the problem is? What volts/watts are you running the setup at? Have you tried changing the coils?

Is it just the one juice giving you problems ? If so could be just thats a bad one.
Something wrong with your coils though more if its noticeable on more than just the one juice.

I've tried changing the coils, I'm pretty sure its constant 3.7v. i made the mistake and didnt get a variable voltage or a variable wattage. the biggest thing for me though is why i can only vape one of the liquids and the others are so bad that i cant take a hit.

any suggestions on a proper setup that might work better?

Well if your coils are ok and that set up doesn't seem you'd be getting too much power and burning the juice. Have you tried juice from a different company ?

So, what's going on with the smoking in context of all of this?

Gong through some sense of taste changes isn't a surprise when you quit smoking. But if you are still bouncing back and forth by throwing smoking in the mix it would even be less surprising.

So are a lot of other issues when you quit smoking: like mild sore throats or more serious mouth ulcers. So you may need to consider how much of what is going on is quit smoking related. ~> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hen-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

The on-again off-again weird tastes combined with the throat complaints might mean you have a sinus infection going on too.

On the vaping side of things, all but one of your liquids has PG, and of those all of them are pretty high at 50% PG except one. While PG gives you throat hit one of the reasons it gives you thoat hit is because it's a bit of an irritant. Some people who are sensitive to that cannot tolerate PG at all, or only at very low levels. Does the only 100 VG liquid bother you if you leave the other stuff alone for a day or so?

i haven't tried juice from a different company. I've been using canvape.com but I'm not sure of any other Canadian retailers

I used to use 50/50 back when i used to vape and didn't have any problems. I haven't tried to take a break then try the 100 Vg because im using it as a quit aid so if i dont vape im worried i might slip up

Hi bminshall and welcome to ECF!

When the off-taste comes, does it kind of taste burnt? Perhaps you're chain vaping and not giving the wicking time to resaturate the coil.
