Hey guys! today i picked up some silica wick and some 32 gauge kanthol. Originally for the fact that i just bought a Smoke tech Octopus (Dual post screw tip dripper) i have a question about rebuilding both that and my pro tank 3... I know the pro tank 3 is a bottom dual coil but considering the head is the same as the pro tank 2 just the 2 is shorter i thought i could build a single coil on the dual coil head but for some reason i can't get but a small amount of vapor to come out after the rebuild. And as for the dripper i have already rebuild it and it is working pretty well... besides the fact that i feel like it doesnt completely taste correct i get a very nasty throught hit and don't even really taste the juice just the wick.. how many drops should i be dripping per hits to keep the hits nice? or is it the coil that's making it do that? really confused and frustrated any insight would be appreciated!

Pictures of your setup? I Twist my 32 gauge allot and then wrap it around a 2mm mini screwdriver 6 wraps on top, That means when looking at the top of the coil - I get around 1.4-1.5 ohms.
Did you make sure the coil was tight and together when you installed it? What is your ohms?

I'd definitely check the ohms. For the pt3 go to riptrippers YouTube and find the video about rebuilding the pt3. That should fix that problem. For the rba, go get some organic cotton. Boil the cotton balls for about 10-20 min and let them air dry ( or since I'm inpatient, gently pat them dry and throw them in the dryer on high heat and check them often to make sure you don't degrade/burn the cotton) when the cotton balls are dry you can unroll them and tear bits of to form a wick. Since switching to cotton, when I make a coil with silica wick all I taste is silica....
