It's a secret!
I was a cigar/pipe smoker and started out with 801 and 510 models (briefly with the Volcano mini cigs) and now use the Rough Stack mod.

But knowing my aunt and uncle, I need to get them as close to the real thing as possible for them to have any chance of sticking with vaping. They're both heavy smokers and I would like to give them a starter kit as a gift when I see them this Thanksgiving.

I need something that is
1) automatic
2)Looks as close to real as possible
3) has decent battery and cart life (or a good pcc at least)

Am I looking at KR808's? 901's? Are there other models that I'm overlooking?

Who are some of the best known/most reputable retailers for them?

Thanks for any help you all can provide!

The 808 is the best cig sized PV available, that would be a good idea for a starter kit for them, that way they don't have to fiddle with atomizers etc, then if they want to step it up a notch and be adventurous after understanding the whole vaping deal then they can get a riva / ego or a proper mod.

I'm going to go a different way.

1) Pretty much anything but an ego or a mod. You can get almost anything with automatic batts.
2) There are a number of "super-mini" models that are EXACTLY the size of a real cig. The ones that come to mind are blu, volcano and revolver elite. The revolver elite is by far the best of the lot, and my favorite super mini. The KR808 is not the size of cig. It's about the same length, but it's thicker than a camel wide, and MUCH thicker than a regular.
3) KR808 has very good battery life, (but fails on #2) and the Revolver Elite has typical battery life for a super-mini, but the best PCC I've ever seen. Exact size of a pack of cigarettes, smart charging, LCD battery level display.

All that in mind, I'd STRONGLY recommend a Revolver Elite from revolvercig.com

In addition to the Elite meeting your criteria, their customer service is peerless.

However, many people, myself included, start with a super mini, and later move up to a larger model like a 510 or an Ego. If you can get past the need for something that really looks and feels like an analogue, a 510 or KR808 would probably be a better choice.
