need help to get picture/ avatar to work

i did it once before,but now wanting to change it. i get incorrect file ext. im not a wiz. if you can help-thanks in advance!

The pics need to be something like a Jpeg etc. If you used photoshop or the like to create the pic you will need to save it in a Jpeg or one of the other formats.
I find jpeg is the most used and easiest to use.

yes, you got me i shopped it. think its jpeg and i compressed it. w-150 x L-104, was was 45.9 kb now??? could it be the kb is still too large? b.t.w. still no cheetos!
