I read a long time ago that you should never do 50/50, they cancel each other out. Pick the dominant flavor you want, and try 60/40. I also read that sometimes you need to flip, i.e. what you think should be the dominant flavor should actually be the lesser flavor in the mix.

Sorry to be confusing, but you need to make a couple of batches to determine what you like, it's different for everybody.

Somewhere on top of the world
I would start with 5% each of the blueberry and watermelon and go from there. You can always tailor it, since I would think that blueberry would over power watermelon...but I've never actually used watermelon.

4% of lemon and lime seems like a good place to start.

Let us know how it works!

I would say it's the opposite. A little watermellon goes a LONG way IMO. I have been know to be wrong though....Once:p

I respectfully disagree with that postulate. I mix a VZ blueberry and TPA pear 50/50 for one my daily vapes; BB on da inhale, pear on da exhale.

I have a few flavor mixes that are 50/50. Blows my socks off everytime. One was so good I sleep vaped it. (Craving a vape in a dream and subconsciously waking up to vape and not remember it) woke up my tank was half empty.

Not trying to mis-inform, just repeating what some pros recommemded:

From Str8v8ping:
"Watch out for building recipes backwards
One thing that i do on occasion that made my juices lack was knowing which flavor should be your base . This is important . Try using the opposite base/dominant flavor in your juice as see how it comes out .
I used to try t make say a cookie juice . I would always do say 10% cookie and 4% vanilla custard . It would always be lacking . I then thought maybe its backwards . I then tried 10% vanilla and 4% cookie and its much better . Sometime what you think should be your base flavor is the opposite."

Hoosier also said something about 50/50 mixing cancelling each other out, I'm actually glad to know you both mix 50/50, as I have been leery of doing so after reading the pro's advice.

Nuttin' dere 'bout NEVER (your word) mixing 50/50. He was commenting about the diff in dominant flavs.

Now, that's a link I'd love to read!

Hey, I'm really not trying to bust your chops. BUT, I do resent bad info based on name dropping and/or incorrect comprehension.

Wow, quite harsh

Here's two links:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/257004-do-i-divide-up-flavors.html
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...59-diy-masters-techniques-mixing-flavors.html

And, for what it's worth, I was not name dropping, merely mentioning people who opinions I respect. Really no need to insult me, we're all here supposedly trying to help each other, and if I misconstrued some information, my deepest apologies to the OP.

This is the comment to which I responded.

The only word I used that might even be considered close to harsh was "resent".

I took the time to read the two links you provided. No where in those posts was it ever mentioned to never mix two flavs 50/50! In fact, I've never read such a premise in all my ECF research.

Well then, let's agree to disagree, and move on...
