First the Biggest! I'm trying to log into myfreedomsmokesUSA and my internet will not connect. Is there a site down? Is this the company that is in NC? I sure hope so because the day they closed I was thinking about going back to cigs and something told me that I shouldn't and hang in there.

Second.....I'm a computer person, cat person, horse person, dog person, a gaming person and I do know some about this vaping stuff. Heck, I make my own juice and do my own tank. But what I don't understand are the mod things. So I'm looking to purchase a new mod. What I've done with my last two mods, is that they NEVER go over 30 watts. I usually vape 18 ohms. So I don't know what you would call me. I'm looking for a mod that has a pass-through first. So that I can vape and charge at the same time. Heck, I go through 200 MLS in 1 1/2 weeks, so yea, I love to vape. This mod has to hold 18650 batteries. I don't know if I need it to hold 2 or 1, but all this time in the last 10 years I've always had mods that have taken 2. So what kind of mod should I get? Any suggestions?

Third..... My current problem that I'm having is the following. Usually in the morning (at 7:30) I wake up, go to my battery charger and insert 4 batteries into it. So that these batteries can wake up, charge all day long, and at night around 11:30 I take them off the charger. The next morning the same processes all over again with a different set of batteries as I have 8 of them total. Yesterday as I woke up, I did my routine and noticed that the batteries on the charger were not charging. Sure the charger had the lights on and blinking, but the bar never when up to show that they were charging. I left them that way all day and still when I took them off, they were a little charge, but nothing to get me through the next day. So with this information, has my mod killed my batteries? Have my batteries actually lived a short life? Or is the charger that I've had for the last 7 years finally die on me?

Fourth......I'm in the market looking for mess coils. Can't find any and I'm hoping someone here can help. The ones I'm currently using is WOTOFO and the writing on the can is A1, 16 X6.8MM .18ohms. If anyone sees these from a good company, please let me know.

FYI.....In my last post to this site, I'm the one that was looking for nic and wondering how to freeze it, etc..... Will after 6 months, I can tell you all the outcome of it. I did my mix (nic came n at 24mgs strong), and I took it down to 5mgs with PG/VG. Store it in air-tight jars with baggies. They live in -0.2 degrees temps all the time until I need them. I take two out, let them unfreeze for about 3 days, and best juice I ever had. Out of a gallon jug, I still have enough for a whole year. Got to love it.
Thanks

    1. Myfreedomsmokes closed in May of 2021, one of the many victims of the PACT Act.

    2. I'm going to assume that you meant 18 watts not 18 ohms. A mod is any device that provides power to your atomizer. There are tons of good mods that would suit your needs. Vaping at 18 watts, you probably wouldn't need a dual battery mod, so I'd recommend a single 18650 mod. Innokin and Vaporesso are two good brands. If you do go with a dual mod, it would give you longer battery life and you wouldn't have to charge as often. Charging your battery through the USB port isn't recommended. It stresses the battery leading to charging problems and possible explosion. I know of no current pass thrus that are available. You could get a mod with an internal battery. You can vape and charge those at the same time.

    3. How old are your batteries? Batteries have a definitive lifespan and need to be replaced. It sounds like your batteries need to be replaced.

    4. @JCinFLA is good at finding things that nobody else can find.

Thank you for your quick response. I read someplace on the board here tonight that Myfreedomsmokes reopen. That is why I'm asking about it. I will check into those places you mention, My batteries are between 6 months to 3 years old. I hope this QJCinFLA will soon appear and see's my question tho as I need those coils.
    Thanks

are there any vape shops in the USA that sells these as well that are in stock?

Element Vape has them in stock, for $4.99 per 10/pack + S/H. They refer to them as being 16mm x 7mm, but the packaging clearly shows they're the 16mm x 6.8mm ones. Their S/H is usually pretty high though. So they might not work out to be such a good deal, when it's included in their total cost.

The 2 Texas vendors, linked to below, also have them in stock. But, they're more expensive than from Wotofo and they have smaller quantities available. It's a shame you didn't ask about them a few weeks ago, because Health Cabin, [a reputable vendor in China], had them for only $2.21 per 10/pack. Their S/H isn't bad and they ship quickly, too.

Anyway, here are the 2 Texas vendors:

Wotofo Profile RDA Mesh Prebuilt Wire – 0.18 ohm (10 Pack) - Artisan Vapor & CBD Grapevine Artisan Vapor & CBD Grapevine - $5.99/tube of 10 + S/H, and they only have 4 tubes in stock

Wotofo Profile Mesh Style Coils - $9.95/tube of 10 + S/H, and they only have 9 tubes in stock

Batteries that are three years old may have reached the end of their life. Some people report longer lasting Batteries but the norm is about two years. Time to replace your older batteries.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There is another site called freedomesmokeusa.com so that might be the site you read about. Eve still, while they do have a site up still, there is nothing for sale there.

It's doubtful that MyFreedomSmokes.com will get back into business.

You're going to have a hard time finding a mod that really has true passthrough. Best to just get that off your shopping list any buy nmore batteries.

Don't buy your batteries (or chargers) at vape shops/sites. Buy them from Mooch-recommended battery vendors...

    IMRBatteries.com
    18650BatteryStore.com
    Liionwholesale.com

    ...are the top 3.

I agree with you about not purchasing batteries from vape shops as they are high. I usually go to Liionwholesale.com and get mine. East coast and very friendly customer service from what I've gone through. As for the charger and mod and batties, no choice when all your old stuff is dead. Today I spent $120 on a mod, tank (mod kit), and 4 batteries. and let's not forget the battery charger. It's seems to be working okay for now. But had a great experience with the mod kit tho. I'm so use to getting the mesh type coils (and still will if I can find them). But today I got the new tank (where the mesh is rolled within the cotton), and man what a flavor I got from it. It was awsome. The mod kit that I got was the Vaporesso Gen 200. I'm not sure about what type of coil it uses, but I can't rebuild it :(. O well, thanks everyone.

The Vaporesso Gen 200 Kit comes with a 220W dual 18650 battery mod, a Vaporesso 8ml iTank, and 2 of the new Vaporesso GTi coils for the tank. The coils are 0.2ohm mesh and 0.4ohm mesh, and many US vendors sell them.

I'm talking about the tank itself. I'm not sure what type of coil I can put in it. It's round, with no screws or anything. Again great taste.

What UJ means is that you are not limited to using the itank on the Vaporesso Gen 200. If you want to put another tank on it, you can. If you want to put a RTA on it fine. The advantage of the RTA is that you won't have to worry about finding coils for because you build your own. I recommend that you get an RTA now, even if you don't plan to use it right away. Equipment, including coils and RTAs, may be difficult to purchase in the future. The once ever so reliable Chinese market may be totally gone. We've already lost FT. Wire and cotton can always be present and learning to make your own coils is easy. My recommendation for RTA is the Dead Rabbit, any version. I use DR, v1 and v2, on my Vaporesso Gen, which is an earlier version of your Gen 200. I get excellent flavor and it is relatively easy to coil.
